VLC never stops being updated?

Everytime I download for an install on a diff computer they have a new version up.

And ipod plugin is integrated now.

You can use iPods with Winamp? I remember having mine and having to download a seperate plugin (it might even be integrated now), and being able to interact with it flawlessly through the media library window.

When a mate's iPod got plugged in - Winamp just recognised it as a different device and away I went.

Sounds like the ml_iPod plugin. Still going but yes Winamp has its own iPod plugin.

What AOL rubbish? Pretty sure you can opt-out of most stuff during the installation process.

i dont use it anymore though. dont like the libary too much

i downloaded the 'lite version' and tweaked the install can see any aol stuff, that was there during winamp 3 which was dire

Use it for all my music needs, I love the library compared to everything else out there, I hate wmp/itunes etc as you don't have separate artist/album/track sections.

What exactly do you mean by this?

You can easily filter your library by artist/album/track in WMP.

Personally I just use WMP these days, I like the visual representation of albums/disks. I tried winamp again and it is exactly how I left it years ago. It seems very stagnant and to me just not very intuitive.

I did used to use the J River media center, that was pretty good.

i have all my artis and albums in folder in my music, i just use that and single click in winamp
