I just had a new roof built so needed tons of insulation, B&Q were the cheapest I could find anywhere as they sell subsidised rolls for DIY use only. Jewsons always seem to be a massive rip off, I am not quite sure why anybody uses them unless the discounts get very large with bulk.
They do a lot of trade business and large accounts can have anywhere in the region of 75‰ discount at these sort of places. They're not set up to cater to the man in the street and will price their 'retail' services accordingly.
