Anyone used My Hermes

I've used them a couple of times to deliver Christmas parcels to family and had no problems.

Dropped my parcel off at my local collection point. Hopefully it will get delivered in the next few days to overclockers

No problems here, sent around 20 parcels in the last few months. Local drop off point close to me so not a problem at all.

I have a couple of Part time Hermes drivers working for my company. As with everything courier related its down to the individual.

Just don't expect it to get to its destination quickly.

Nothing but issues, shouted at my wife because she took 10 seconds to lock the dog behind the child gate then kicked in 2 slats of my gate to drop a parcel through despite being home.

I wouldn't use it for high value stuff, UPS is only ever a little more expensive if you use one of their drop off locations.

There was a bit on WatchDog about My Hermes and the super duper exclusion list.

As an individual I would only use them to send unbreakable items.

Never had a problem with them. theyre as reliable as any other courier, probably with equally long butt covering exclusion lists.

Round here, Hermes are the worst of the couriers by far. Really, really, awful. I have a good Yodel delivery guy here and no problems with the others either.

But Hermes are terrible. No attempt to deliver, no card, nothing, just returning parcels to sender. We live on a terrace in the middle of town, so not exactly hard to find either. Avoid like the plague.

Note that their TrustPilot rating is 1 star.

had them "lose" a package i ordered from the rainforest after apparently not being able to find my address (central Belfast is a maze ya know). Luckily rainforest were super cool and sent a replacement by fastest delivery method, should be here tomorrow

When i did some searching for feedback from the company it was horrific, altho im sure the same can be said for a lot of companies once disgruntled people start posting complaints, ill wait till i get my goods before joining the rant

My turn to get lied to, this time by a company called 'UKmail'. Never heard of them before, but they were supposed to deliver something last week from the rainforest, got an email today saying delivery had been attempted yesterday and carded. We were in all day and no card was left.
Phoned them up and they gave a description of the front door (!) that matches no house in the area. First time that has ever happened with any delivery company for me...

Just give the rainforest a bell mate, i did last friday and my replacement product arrived on Monday 12th via different couries than Her-pes (mes)

You should never bother dealing with the courier anyway they're not your problem, they're the retailers let them wade through all their rubbish after they've sent you a replacement.

Just received a coat from an Ebay seller which uses MyHermes. Despite the ambiguous tracking page and it not being the fastest service, I can't complain.

I've read that the company uses part time drivers which each have their own region which can lead to issues when the drivers 'save up' packages for their area so that they can all be delivered on the same day / at their convenience. However, I've no idea how true this is.

Fairly, the guy who covers my area delivers it as he collects it as he lives just around the corner pretty much.

But have heard that about them saving parcels up, as some deliver after they finish their actual jobs, and delivering for MyHermes is a second job.
