Anyone watch micro men?

Did anyone see this excellent dramatisation last night? It starred Martin Freeman and alexandser armstrong and was about the battle between acorn and sinclair. Really brought back a lot of memories from gaming/computing in the 80's. Its still available on iplayer if you fancy watching it.

Yeah quite amusing, though it was first shown a few months back around the same time as Electric Dreams (also worth a watch for some nostalgia).

I saw it. And I'm old enough to remember when it was news, as I lived in Cambridge at the time. It's very ironic that Acorn went under, given how successful the ARM processor became.

Watched when it first went out, really entertaining and Alexander Armstrong was great as Sinclair.

I had a Speccy, and used BBC Micros at school, but was never actually aware of the background of Acorn. I know it was a dramatization and all, and I've no idea what he was actually like, but it portrayed Sinclair as, well, a bit of a git really.

Saw this when it was shown the first time - really enjoyed it. Great to see at the end that Acorn's legacy continues with the development of almost all mobile phone CPUs.

Ditto to the above, watched on iPlayer a few months back. I thought Armstrong was most watchable. Some great scenes with him particularly when he references Jet Set Willy, butwith an extra word!

Not to be too nerdish (ok, maybe a bit) but iirc he makes that reference in a scene before it gets to 1984, which was when Jet Set Willy was released...

You'd have to be a bit of a git to come up with the C5, and think people are going to buy it.:p

Hadn't realised that. I can imagine it had a few mistake/dramatisations in there.
