Seems to be quite a few warnings.

2 things bother me. The temperature (which is exactly equal to the maximum operational temperature for that drive I think), and the reallocated sector count.

Oh I should have edited that out, it's running at 43oC now, that is after I took the side of the case off, it was actually running at 60oC at one point.

How old is this maxtor, definitely backup anything vital on the drive

Well my 7 year old maxtor only just started with problems this year but a few years back maxtor were really bad quality so I dont know if yours is one of those
