Hi there

Maybe not quite as stylish as the Samsung model, but for the same money you get a full adjustable stand, vesa 100x100, speakers, more connectivity and a USB hub.

Check this bad boy out and again OcUK is launch partner as we are the most focused 4k store in the UK, as always leading. :)

Stock is expected in June!

This monitor is also 60Hz at 3840x2160 when connected via DisplayPort.

Featuring great connectivity with VGA, DVI, HDMI and DisplayPorts along with a full height adjust, pivot and swivel stand with VESA 100x100 support. Making the AOC U2868PQU ideal for eye-finity/surround setups. The monitors also includes stereo speakers as well

Same panel as the samsung? Displayport 1.2 needed?

Yes, Samsung make all TN panels. ;)

Yes DisplayPort 1.2!

This for the same money is great, more connectivity, adjustable stand, VESA so you could mount three onto a monitor stand and an extra years warranty (3yr). :)

What's with all these killer waiting times :p

There's only one actually affordable 4K monitor in stock, and that's the 24" 900 quid Dell :p

800 quid at OcUK! :)

That is the leadtime, we have secured ourselves as launch partner, so were making noise as 4k will be one of the biggest events later this year and I intend of having the best range and deals in the UK. :)

For 4K, OCUK's definitely leading the way, your prior employers have practically nil.

It's just a killer with the leadtimes, the Samsung is frustrating (With the korean sellers etc on the bay, but I wouldn't chance it, same as I didn't do one of those 1440P monitors)

Buy a Korean one, you have no warranty with Samsung, not a leg to stand on and your reliant on dealing with the Ebay seller if it goes wrong, good look if that happens especially after a year of ownership. Plus you have to pay import duties/taxes on top of the Ebay price, unless you get lucky and customs don't spot it, which will make it nearly £100 more expensive after admin charges.

That's entirely my point.

It's not worth the risk at all.

Good to see another sub £500 4K monitor.

Although after playing around in Bf4 last night I think I will have to give them a miss until I can get a new GPU.

Brilliant stuff. Definitely wasn't expecting 4K monitors to be coming in at the £500 mark. Very impressed. The GPU horsepower needed though would probably put me off upgrading from 1440p. G-Sync Vs 4K could be an interesting battle in the summer!

So these are technically available now on the bay at less than £500 or more than £500? True about the warranty..............I bet 4k is prone to fault this early on so good to have a warranty. Having said that I went to a strangers house and paid cash for an out of warranty dell 2008 30 incher and it's still working perfectly.

very nice but you need to add another £500 on for the cost of the second 290x /780ti to run it with all the eye candy on at 60fps.

when will these start to come in stock or have i missed that bit.Plus how would the gtx780ti 6gb cope with this monitor would i still need to sli it.

£464 + VAT and any other import duties/admin charges.

We are £499 including VAT, Ebay will be £550-£600 landed with no warranty.

Gpu grunt is the killer, to game at a decent frame rate you really need 2X290 or 780, that's £650 of graphics card plus £500 for the monitor. Only for the well off sadly which is your market here ocuk.
