Less than 150 as what ppl said in posts. Maybe more now, but it still smaller than many other cars queue line.
Think I might go for it now then.

I realise I'm a bit late to the party, but I didn't want to drop the coin on a 3080 until I knew my job was safe after furlough - thankfully, I got the call I'd been hoping for from my regional manager yesterday.

Good news on the job mate! If you're patient get an Aorus ordered

Its an interesting situation - im 130 somethingth in the queue for an extreme. By the time they arrive we will have big navi in stock... and possibly the 20gb 3080. May cancel my order if either of these turn up.

Larger numbers of Eagles are being produced in two weeks time, these will take a week to arrive and be booked in. We have been shipping small amounts but with the national holiday last week and a typhoon in Hong Kong too, it's meant a week delay on one shipment.
Appreciate the update, when you say larger numbers how many units are we looking at?

@GIGA-Man I know you can't speak for OCUK but it looks like we've seen 0 eagles ship here since the 17/10/20, based on my queue update we've seen lots of people cancel, probably many more in the coming weeks with rival card releases and no request fulfilments. Is there any indication of whether its going to take half a year to fulfil my order placed a few hours after launch or another month or two, I am currently 632 in the queue.

At this point I wish there was some transparency for my uneducated brain as to why these are not being fulfilled sooner (I appreciate there have been holidays), but what is the bottle neck here? I've been watching youtuber videos of Gigabyte factories where hundreds of thousands of graphics cards are apparently produced monthly and have been day dreaming that one day they will start making the card i've forked out several hundred quid for with no return.

That being said I appreciate you are posting and updating with what you can, and at this time its the only reason i've hung onto my order.

@Aidenius

When Chinese go on holiday, they go on holiday and whole factory shuts down. Not night/day shift or weekend staff. Feb / Chinese New year's is the worse. This also applies to logistics if I remember correctly .

With Hong Kong being hit, nothing will get shipped till it's safe today so. One day missed transit at the start of the journey can set you back a long time at final destination . Believe NL is were MSI,Asus, gigabyte warehouse is, so got to get missed cargo slots rebooked etc .

And UK orders such a tiny amount

Guess Nvidia rushed a paper launch out just to try and beat AMD to market then? I mean I'm no expert but I think the holidays you mention are every year for about the last 3000 years? It's like Nvidia knowingly planned a paper launch :-)

Yeah, and it's not like they delivered many before that either. It's so weak.

I don't really buy into the holidays being the over riding factor here. The thing that gets me is that the manufacturers, in my case Gigabyte know how many customers are here that have paid in full for cards, so I would like to think there would be some sort of priority to get my "pre order" from L-Day fulfilled asap.

Yes, and why launch cards in Holiday season

Not sure i agree with queue priority production, I for one have bought the top tier card at £1700 and they haven't even shipped any so going with Gigabyte theory they should get some of those out of the door and not the eagles. I have bought a lot through OCUK but i can't say i agree with their fully paid pre order system especially when they can't even give you a date to receive. This happened to me this year already when i had a Samsung Oddessy G9 on order for 2 months which i then cancelled due to no delivery date in sight

At least Aorus have released the spec for the 3090 Xtreme now so there is light at the end of the tunnel. What does everybody think of the specs released for the 3090Xtreme?

My whole system is Gigabyte and Aorus, this GPU experience has put me off the brand totally, and not just the delay. The cooler looks great but what's the point? There is no overclock to take advantage of the massive cooler we are paying big money for, the stock OC for the xtreme is 2 bins lower than the Strix OC so im paying what £250 extra for a tamagotchi lcd screen (You can purchase something on Amazon similar for about £1.99) and a toy robot? There isn't even an anti sag bracket?? I saw an unboxing and the dude measured a huge sag on the Master when fitted day 1!!

Gigabyte seem to have gotten their priorities wrong, logistics wrong and marketing totally wrong and offering frankly pathetic excuses, Chinese holidays that have been around for centuries and "fair" shipping and production when the Xtreme card doesn't even use the same bin parts as the Eagle/Master so how is it you can't produce any Xtreme's to ship? Why is the Xtreme so low performing vs lesser priced cards? Why is there no anti sag bracket for the worlds largest manufactured cooler?
