Aorus cards?

something to laugh about it, OcUK getting only 1 card for retail is a joke.
OcUK claims to be so close to Nvidia and Board Partners but seems to be BS

Is it just for denmark or nordic region in general?

They 100% recieved more than 1 card. God knows where they went. The question is why would they send out 1 card.

I went from pos 2 > 1. No chance pos 1 cancelled. They're either sitting on cards for some reason, or they laughably only got 1 card which I don't for a second believe. Other competitors who shall not be named to fall in line with the rules have received cards and have managed to ship cards out like in @fx1's case (sorry to ping you mate).

Add on the extremely vague 'very small' / 'small' delivery amounts and god knows how many they're actually getting and sending out.

Definitely a cancelled order in my case :). I don´t think the 3090 Xtreme is being shipped to the retailers at all.

The retailer i got mine from is sitting on a small number of these and has not yet allowed orders on the website. I have no idea why but im guessing the stock numbers are so small it really doesnt matter to them. It wasnt even listed until a few days ago.

Good news is that this GPU seems to be boosting to 2055-2100 mhz on the stock power settings. MSI Afterburner wont let me change it for some reason right now.... if anyone knows why id appreciate it.

So did Gigabyte not send any Xtreme again??? My queue position (21) didn't move again... So even if they send the first batch end of next week? Im still looking at another 3-4 week wait? Unbelievable!
Asus AMD here I come!

Also am I seeing the other place got what I would have expected OverClockers to receive this week?
So Overclockers got no stock again vs the 'They who shall not be named because they actually get stock'?

I honestly wouldn’t touch any 8nm ampere cards guys
There will be a 7nm refresh soon and retailers are now itting their pants they will get stuck with 8nm stock No one will want
Trust me cancel your orders

Thank you for the info and you certainly mean it for good. But why I am ordering an Aorus is just because of the better stock cooler. +50 more for an extreme, only, which is ok. For a little more clock and even a little bigger cooler (bigger vapor chamber than master).
I wont even overclock much, only, what that automated overclock tool will give.

A 7nm might clock 10-15% better, who knows, but the waiting time is already so much for the 8nm ones and nobody knows when the 7nm will come out (6 months maybe).

That’s probably 1 cancellation, not 1 shipped lol
So do you think the first in line cancelled the order even though OcUK announced the incoming of cards this week?

I don't think the first in line would have cancelled.

The second in line moved 1 position like me, and I'm was in 46 now 45, number two went to position number 1, it is still just a guess, but I guess they shipped only only one, if they received more, I don't know what they did with them.

https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/nvidia-allegedly-moving-ampere-to-7-nm-tsmc-in-2021.html

We dont even know which models are going to move, yet...
The 3090 might never and perhaps only the 3080 20gig will - which will then make the 3090 even more useless...

But this is hardware, isnt it, they all become worse over time (relative to newer ones coming out which are just better).

Agree however I gave the opinion in another thread Nvidia have conceded this early fight to focus on early 2021 and 7nm to counter punch the AMD GPU's about to be announced, of course the Nvidia cult arrived to mock me in about 3 and a half second (If only Nvidia and Gigabyte could deliver 3 cards a week? haha).

I do know I wont be purchasing from Overclockers again, they outright lied about partner status and their close ties to Nvidia and board partners proved by the fact other suppliers have shifted more stock and the way the other suppliers have been far more open about stuff and communicative versus the almost tongue biting, clenched teeth feeling I get when OC drip us any information.

Nvidia what ever way you spin this have really dropped the ball and look out of control right now, border line amature with the fact's to many to list at this point.
And Gigabyte /Aorus who frankly are last to ship the premium product and it's not even as fast as the competition and cost the most, has the wrong bios applied out the early box's and again show incompetence frankly.

I realise there will be some vicious rhetoric back at me from people too close to the sources to see the wood for the tree's, but every complaint I have raised thus far is fact supported and cant be argued with at this point, though some will but facts are facts.

I'm more of a lurker in here, but i've been keeping an eye on the post's about the Aorus 3080.

I've moved positions this week (55 to 54) for the Aorus Xtreme, but i'll be honest the lack of communication from OC has been more than disappointing. I ordered some other products which i need for December, but the order won't ship out until the order is full so i'm in two minds whether to cancel the card.

To be fair, give them a call and tell them to ship the parts that are in stock, i'm sure they will. I do not really have a problem with OCUK as i feel they offer a top service, i do however think their pre order system is a joke and needs a rethink. Paying for something fully without a delivery in sight is a pi$$ take

Very true, the wait time of 7 nm product will take longer and longer . Lol good luck for those wait for that 7nm product :p:p:p

I'm position 2 mate, and I'll be lucky if I see my card within 3-4 weeks. If I'm being honest, at the rate OCUK have been sending out cards (literally 1 Xtreme so far since they were released), you'll be lucky to have your card by the start of 2021.

An order cancellation is possible. I havent seen anybody claiming in any reddit, forum entry, yt videos, etc. that they have received a 3090 xtreme.

There is just nothing other than a Gigabyte-owned unboxing video. Nvidia made a perfect paper launch ******* in their pants that AMD could have beaten them and/or uncrown them for a certain amount of time of having the fastest gaming chip - the fastest RX6xxx is faster than the 2080TI.

Nvidia played dirty and has released a card which wont be available for further 4 months most likely - so, in total it has been released 6 months too early. They have released it trying to take the wind out of AMDs sails but at the cost of customer satisfactory. We certainly need more competition to beat the arrogant politics of those companies.

Board partners are just pawns in this game, resellers feel the stick but doesnt care at all - especially about scalping opportunitists. Everbody is just pointing to each other knowing the game at the cost of the customers.
