Aorus Elite x570 memory issues

I have had a little time this morning to try some of the suggestions above .
3400 MHz just doesn't seem doable . As soon as I choose 3400 MHz the memory either resets on re boot to 2100 MHz or the bios resets on reboot back to original settings . Tried it with all the suggestions above upto 1.45v and with IF set to 1800 & 1700 . Setting Cas latency to 18 made no difference and gear down was in auto but set to enabled made no difference .
Currently running at the step below 3400 MHz and if set to 1667 @1.42v . System seems stable and have run a windows memory test without issue .

Hi just to let you know unfortunately its the motherboard model that is causing you all these issues. Tried the best rams from other PCs and Amazon etc and they all fail XMP. However other motherboards i have work fine with the Ram.

Yeah I have the latest bios - Tried Crucial and corsair 3600 and Team dark pro 4000 and Patriot 4000 ram.

It will work and then every now and then it will cold boot and then drop to the lowest speed and not the XMP profile. ( for the 4000 ram speeds I run at 3200 - 3600 speed anyway )

The best thing for me to do is to then manually go into the board and manually set all the speed settings. None of my other 2 motherboards exhibit this issue and swapped Ram from them etc.

It could be because i have a bad elite but from reading other internet posts it seems I am not alone.

You .must be unlucky I had no problem so far with either but they did release a newer bios the other day

To be fair it could be a couple of weeks or a month until the cold boot thing happens.

I will clear the cmos and reset to defaults and go from there.

a2 and b2 is dual mode, sorry my mistake as a typo. A1 and A2 or B1 and B2 populated is Single channel (long day in work).

XMP does, but it's still an Intel thing- why you see memory vendors with 'Ryzen tuned' like corsair- still has XMP but sub timings and voltages may differ slightly
Hi, sorry for the use of an ancient topic. I have an Aorus X570 with old 3000mhz 4 slot RAM. I would upgrade with a 3600mhz RAM. You suggest to use 4 slots or 2 slots? So, for 32gb I have to buy 2x16 or 4x8? What's the best configuration?

Thanks
