Aorus Owner's Lounge

Hey Atom80,

Could you give us any info on when the pre-ordered laptops will be shipping out?

Thanks.

Hi CerateD,

As soon as stock lands, pre-orders will ship as a priority.

Which product is it you have on order and we will try and give more accurate ETA.

Thanks,

Team AORUS

I have the Aorus X7 V6-CF1 pre-ordered. Please please please tell me it will be by the end of this week because I am leaving the country on Sunday.

Hi CerateD,

It is with regret that I have to tell you that the product wont arrive this week. We have some of the other version with FHD panel that we expect to be available to ship to end users on Mon/Tuesday next week.

We are chasing HQ for accurate ETA on the 120Hz panel version for you and will post details as soon as we can.

Really sorry the news isn't more positive.

Regards,

I would love to know when this model will arrive too.

Hi bleepsake,

There is a quantity of the X5 due to leave factory on Friday, so should be in UK next week.

We would strongly suggest placing a pre-order to stand best chance of receiving from this next batch - previous deliveries have been consumed by pre-orders so we haven't actually seen the product "in stock" yet.....

We are doing our best to get product here in decent quantity to satisfy demand.

Sorry for the inconvenience , but thanks for your interest.

Team AORUS

Hi Atom80, i am too waiting for this product to come into stock

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/aoru...-gtx-1080-g-sync-gaming-laptop-lt-02c-au.html

Do you know how many SSD, m.2 sata6 ssd, sata 6 ssd, m.2 nvme ssd the user can add to this machine?would most likely want to take the mechanical hard drive out.

Hi a66as,

Again, we are doing our best to get product here quickly....we think this model is a couple of weeks away, but sometimes we get pleasant surprises when we receive factory updates !

Will keep you posted.

Regarding M.2 SSD bays, there are a total of 3 in the X7 chassis + HDD bay.

Each can accept upto 512GB PCIe, and the HDD can take upto 2TB..

Sorry for the delay, hope that helps.

I'm assuming the HDD can be removed and replaced with an SSD. Why can each m.2 SSD only take up to 512gb just out of curiosity? (not that i'd put anything more in there due to prices)

Hi a66as,

Yes the HDD could be removed and replaced with SSD also - this is 2.5" SATA bay.

The M.2 bays (x3) can accept upto 512GB SSD, simply because this is the capacity that we have tested at HQ, so bigger capacity is possible, just not verified by us at this time.

Hope that's clarification for you.

It's a shame stock of the new models is so low.
I'm sure there must be some lost sales happening with people opting for rival products due to lack of supply.

I was hoping to buy one back in August :(

Yeah. I'm pretty much against pre-ordering (don't want to wait weeks or months with -2200GBP on my bank account and nothing to show for it) so that leaves me in the dust. Which means I'll be looking at other models from other vendors. It's a shame because this machine looks really nice.

I don't want a macbook pro =( Going to wait for this to come out. Hopefully monday should be the day! Also Pre-ordering should be a day before arrival of stock. At least you don't put out exact dates, and fail to deliver when the day arrives.. =)

Hi thanks for replying to me, do you have any review videos of this laptop? I want to see what the cooling performance and noise levels are on the laptop before making a decision.
