On a side note, just to give some feedback on the replacement X3 plus v5 you helped me with 6 months ago - still spot on and working really well. I spend a lot of time travelling and it's been great to have power and portability combined. I probably treat it slightly rougher than I should with all the moving around, but no issues with reliability. Great stuff !

Thanks for the feedback and information, glad everything is good with your roughly treated AORUS !

Regarding the SSD you mention, our team think this should be absolutely fine and is the brand we installed at that time. They also say that SAMSUNG are in short supply of the larger capacity SSD, and prices are increasing,,,,

Stock is on way to UK right now, we would therefore expect that pre-orders should be shipping from OcUK, Wed/Thur next week - maybe a bit earlier with the wind behind us !

There is limited quantity, so we would advise to place Pre-order now if you can, if not certainly on Sunday.

I was going to place my order last Friday, but had an issue with PayPal, which will be resolved by Monday.

Upset about the price that has increased by £100 though. Was £2399 on Friday and just checking now and see it is now £2499.

I was thinking the same about the X7 DT v6-CF1.. now at £2,999.99 :(

Hi folks,

As the manufacturer we don't set the pricing with the retailers, we just "suggest" it - however, at the moment the pressure that has been put on prices because of the weakness in the pound has meant that some products that were not yet physically in the market have been increased.

It is not an ideal situation, but circumstances unfortunately beyond our control as all elements of the product are traded in dollars.

The reality is that our costs, to the UK (and therefore to our partners), have increased approx. 15% since BREXIT.

We have been working hard to shelter/absorb these costs over recent months, and continue to do so where possible.

Is this hike in price going to affect all aorus laptops? These things are expensive enough! I've had actual arguments with real humans trying to justify me buying one and now the price is going up?!
