Apache's everywhere!

Just having a back road blast on the roads surrounding my village and noticed 3 apache's have been flying around our village for about an hour! Our village is very small and quite out of the way. God knows what they were doing around here! Just every now and them see them flying around and one went right over the road and sounded bloody loud!

They were the ones with the dome things on the rotor blades as well.

geek mode - that dome is a longbow fire control radar, basically means they can blow stuff up from behind hills having just stuck their radar over the hill

They are very cool machines indeed

I once had one come and hide behind some trees behind my house. Sat there for a couple of minutes then buggered off somewhere haha.

They're probably training, it would make sense to use small villages as practice for attacking bases etc.

And they're back again! I'm starting to know what it's like to live in downtown Baghdad now!

When it went over the car, it can't have been much more than about a 100m up but god it was loud.

Go find a 1.5m length of black pipe/tubing. Chopper pilots love having those pointed at them.

We get the occasional Longbow pair fly over here sometimes. And regularly see Chinooks.

does a lot more than that

can track like 300 enemies at the one time, identify which is the biggest threat, then tell the pilots, and all within like 10 seconds
