I dont see why they need to know whether im a home owner or how many kids ive got, wont be signing up and im fairly sure that that breaks the data protection act because half that stuff is not at all relevant and is excessive

Lie? I have an alter ego I use for this kinda thing and a prepaid Mastercard in a fake name/address. Paranoid much? By the way I earn well in excess of $100k, am a doctor and have 2 kids. When do o have time to beta test anything?

I got invited last week to see the new updated version. Very impressive compared to the first beta and managed to get a few hours gameplay in without crazy lag or crashes

Aye, the game is larger than i thought it would be. I was going to download it when i get home but i'll wait till tomorrow to bypass the mad rush that's probably going on just now with all new testers.

They seem to have really broadened the tester base this time round, Been reading all over gaming forums of people being accepted today.

So is the beta not designed with win 7 in mind because i got this (although it still letting me install).

I just got in as well. The installer didn't like my windows 7, or my E6600. Hopefully it'll play ok, I've not got enough cash to go quad core
