APB Reloaded Open Beta... Delayed :/

it does but probly not so friendly as vent, quality, etc etc.
Has anyone managed to get any vehicle parts at all? I just got myself the Patriot T-25 and noticed that there is quite a few part modification options but none of them are unlocked (except the basic police light bar). A google shows varying results, with some people saying you need a premium account, other say you need to do certain contacts, some say its random etc... Does anyone have any solid info?

I don't think you can get them all yet, heard some will be availble from armas(the paid for marketplace), I got a few bits for my van just buy doing missions and completing contacts. I think wheels are the most common reward. Someone said if you look at your contacts list where it shows an unlock with no text with it that is a car part.
Also heard when they release the race district you will get car parts from there.
O and remember you get extra special cop car lights by ranking up your cop level.

I'm not sure what is up with the matchmaking system but every game I've had today and most of the ones yesterday my team always get matched against criminals who are much higher rating than us, allowing for them to use high end clotting agents and modified weapons to simply overpower my team. This game simply isn't fun when time after time it matches a team of silver players with average weapons, maybe 1 or 2 upgrades, against a team of 2 high silvers and 2 medium gold players with 3 character mods and 2 weapon mods.
I've had a good test of the game now, and unless the devs get their act together and fix some of the issues then I don't see this game doing any better than the original APB. The game is a good concept that has been poorly executed.

Tried doing that and not only did performance get worse, but objective markers disappeared after I tried this...
I joined Obeya as an Enforcer called MattBradley although might not be on that much with these difficulties...
There's a lot of hackers on Obeya, I've spent a fair few hours on today and been the victim of wallhacks a couple of times. Also one idiot who couldn't die.
Matchmaking is also really imbalanced.
Other than that it's a cracking game.

Went on last night after a few days off. The new patch has sorted out matchmaking.
I still dont know where people get all this 'server is full of hackers' from. It isnt - ive put in 130 hours myself so far on Obeya, and ive probably come across about 3. Even then I got in a few kills.
Im not saying im a pro player either, but I do ensure my tactics are 'smart'. So many people just run to the little orange objective arrow like its some sort of shrine, and then rage they get picked by the sniper, smashed to bits by the shotgunner in the corner or blown up by a grenade.
We had a mission last night, 4v4, had to get 15 kills to win. The enforcers got one cheeky kill on us then legged it back into the police station on Waterfront and held themselves in with unlimited nades (joker machines) etc.
We still won.

Evoss - Your going down.
How the hell do you use nades, I have 100 in locker but when I look at my weapons there isnt a symbol next to grenade like my two guns, how do I turn them on?
Must say I've not come across any hacking but I haven't been looking for it.
Anyone got any creations to post up?

Show me where anyone said it's "full" of hackers? I said there are a lot of hackers. Having someone happily stand in front of you and letting you unload a full clip into them knowing they can't die is definitely hacking. They weren't shooting back they were just extracting the urine.
Does anyone know if this game has any form of anti-cheat? I played in a district earlier today where my team kept getting grouped up against an opposition team of 2 high gold players, one with a sniper and one with a armas SMG, and both players were widely known as hackers, everyone on the district kept talking about them as anyone who played them always lost. And before anyone says they were just good players with good weapons/mods, they could instantly lock onto a player and shoot and the moment he died they would spin around and fire perfectly at the next person.
After trying some tweaks to reduce the stuttering (but still no fix for the mem leak) the game can be quite fun to play, but I think for this game to work the devs realy need to do something about matchmaking and cheating. The problem with matchmaking though is that its not an easy fix, with 50 v 50 you are limited in who you can be matched up against so I daubt the devs will ever make the matchmaking fair, but the least they could do is sort out backup so teams who realy need it can call it in.

Not sure about everyone but plenty of us on obeya as enforcers
I just got an email through about the shotgun/emote/character slot that closed beta players got (i got the items a couple days ago but only got the email today) and noticed at the bottom it mentioned improved matchmaking among other things in the next 30 days. Is this improved matchmaking the update that happened in the last couple of days or are they planning more improvements, because it seems there are far too many high threat criminals going against lower threat enforcers so it needs more fixing.

Im not struggeling with cash at all really, unless you wanna buy every single item you will be fine.
But a lot of people don't like witnessing and grp's often won't do it. I have witnessed maybe 5 people and luckily one time I got $30k, was happy days. Maybe you'll only witness crims with low cash lvl but you may get lucky.

Well i re-rolled last night. Made some decent money just through missions alone, and witnessed a couple of people for some measly $500 each.
What weapons to people recommend? I tried the OBIR on my last char with some success, tried the Joker Carbine (Semi-auto, ****), and now i'm using the MP5 look-a-like, which seems quite good. Does anybody have any other suggestions?
