Apple Event, San Francisco - Discussion Thread

Prices up on apple site.

8gb Touch - £170
16gb - £220
32gb - £280

Really wish the 16gb was at £200

Solid line up and 2.1 is good news. iTunes 8 looks promising and the new Touch is great (shame I have an iPhone, eh? ;) ) - not so sure about the nano, I kind of liked (and owned) a fat one.

Disappointing on the computer front though but I suppose that will come later. Looks like my credit card breves a sigh of relief but poor Pismo doesn't get a sister.

lmao.....dare i say it f5 is simpler than cmd+R

Not if you have to press Fn+F5 to get F5 to work. ;)

Over-all I'm not too fussed about this event. iTunes 8 will be interesting but other than that I'm not looking for a new iPod at the minute as I'll be getting an iPhone next month also I'll stick with my B&O headphones.

Also, it seems to me that this was always going to me a music based event so while I can understand peoples disappointment that there wasn't any computer related announcements, there wasn't really much evidence to suggest that there would be so you can't be that surprised.
