Apple Event, San Francisco - Discussion Thread

Question is will anything else come out between now and mac world, a lot of people have been saying apple has Let the Main Mac's slide while they dedicated their time to the iphone, Touch and the mac I hate the most the Air.
 
Itunes 8 update I got from Apple site. It then complains that I need QT update (got through Software Update) and now there is a Front Row update on there as well!!! (Using Leopard btw)

Talking to EVH, and we both agree that Apple (as they have done before) can drop an keynote at the drop of the hat, and may do so in October.

EVH says they could even wait for MacWorld, and keep off major updates to designs of the Computer Macs with simple speed bumps.
 
Taking a long time to cache all my album artworks!! My cache folder is over 170mb atm, and im about 75% done!

EDIT: Final size = 354mb!!!!!

true from what I have seen though speed bumps dont get a keynote just a rumour and oh **** the apple store is down post on forums.

For me there have been one too many bumps and not enough new features, my 18month black book is almost on a par with the very latest blackbook, compared to what pc vendors are doing its a shame.

I think it may be time for a younger man at the helm

Thats coz its all cached.
Is anyone else's genius thing taking FOREVER to gather info?! Mines been going for 20mins and is only about 35% through! (~10,000 songs)
 
I was out and managed to miss this, can I download it from somewhere?

Not iTunes, the presentation...
 
I hit the update button in iTunes and it offered me 2.1 but then this happened immediately....
