**** Apple Event "Spring loaded" - 20th April 2021 @ 18:00 UK time ****

For now I’ve gone with the Folio case (no keyboard) as I want to try out the various keyboard options in person before buying - particularly as the Apple one is so expensive.

It’s just arrived :D

I like the folio case style as well, the only thing that is a let down for me is there isn't a place to hold the pencil the last time I checked?

I've got a logitech keys to go for using with mine, I like it. I don't always use the keyboard so it's handy to just be able to leave it behind.

I have a separate pencil case I carry around with me which I’ll store the Pencil in. I will probably also get a sleeve for the iPad because from experience having two layers of protection (ooh-err) will be necessary for me :p

I’m not sure whether I want a keyboard case yet, as I feel they add a lot of bulk for ‘tablet mode’. I’d like to see how easy it is to detach the Apple one.

I’m not sure how I’d get on with the pencil away from the iPad. Just means more stuff to carry around. Do you store yours in a bag? I tend to just carry the thing itself. That only ever changes if I’m travelling and it’s stored in the backpack.

I do like those sleeves that double up as a stand. I prefer apple stuff naked but I despise bumps and bashes and scratches.

price structure of the tv means you may as well go for the bigger one.

I will have real pencils with the iPad as well, as I’ll be using it for sheet music which will be a combination of PDFs and printed pages. Thus it makes sense for me to carry both around together.

When out and about, I’ll have it in a bag. I tend to have a load of music gear with me anyway, so the extra pencil case is no big deal :)

Why not? It’s only £20 more isn’t it?
I asked myself the same question when my 64GB turned up, could have gone for the 32GB because i never saved anything to my AppleTV.

Was only kidding from the previous poster asking the same question;)

I also ordered the 64gb, but don't need the extra as only stream from 3-4 apps. Guess it also helps sell on value down the line.

True, I always wondered why they priced them so close together, considering they over charge for storage normally :p

I went 64GB this time round as we’ve been using Apple Arcade a bit more recently and the storage has been getting quite low.

This facilitates that and any potential changes to the style of games they bring to the service.

Ordered one of the new TV 4K boxes and managed to pick up a 2020 11" iPad Pro for £600 will be a nice upgrade from my 10.5 one I hope.

Yea some bargains to be had on the 2020 models. I managed to grab a 2020 12.9 iPad Pro with cellular from MM (BNIB) for £640.

Yep this one was £600 brand new which I thought was pretty good. Tbh other than Face ID I cannot tell any difference from my last one but I'm not really a Pro user..lol

Grr, just noticed a crack running across the screen of my iPad Pro 11". The Apple repair cost is £374! Not sure what to do with it now.
