I expected this pricing but seeing it written down makes it hard to stomach - think I will try and keep going with my 6+ 128GB.. it has just been insurance replaced so is in brand new condition at the moment.

Have they changed the excesses though? £25 for screen damage and £79 for the device, before it was £79 across the board?

I wasn't worried about that just the extra warranty on the thing in the first place. I only paid £60 odd for apple care on my ipad air 2. It's now £89. Still cheaper than the phone.

OMG, even the "basic" iPhone 7 32G is £599, which is not enough room these days, especially with a 12mp camera. The 128G model will be the optimum storage but that is £819!

You're comparing apples and oranges. It's £599 for the 7 32G and £819 for the 7+ 128G. The 7 128G is £699.

The 7 and 6S 128G models are the same price but the 32G slots in far nearer to the 7 64G price than the 7 16G.

7 128G jet black is clearly going to be the most in-demand model.

It's the usual bait and switch technique from Apple, getting rid of the 16gb and 64gb makes it harder to compare like with like so they've basically snuck in a big price hike under the cloud cover of doubling the storage.

And people was stupid to think UK price would say the same as before.

The 7 128G is the same price as the 6S 128G. The 32G slots in between the price of the 6S 16G and 64G models, albeit far closer to the latter.

Not bad at all really considering how much weaker the pound is than a few months ago.

Of course this requires that you ignore their claims of "double the storage for free".
