when do we reckon the network providers will start allowing preorders ? theres no way I'm preordering through apple and having it delayed again
 
iOS 5.0 Final to be released 12th October :) Surprised we haven't seen a GM - maybe to do with the speech integration?

I would be surprised if we didn't see a GM release at the end of the conference...

They tell you to turn your phones off as a general announcment, because most phones in circulation (non-smart especially) don't have an airplane mode.

Because we have airplane mode, it amounts to the same thing.
 
They've literally spent about 45 minutes recapping what they've already said in the last conference! A little disappointing... hopefully they'll make up for it soon :p

We seem to be digressing, but I disagree. On the flights ive been on you are instructed to turn off all electronics for take off and landing and to ensure that flight mode is enabled before you switch them off
