apps to save storage?

Hey there!
I want to ask you for a recommendation - I need really to have more storage on my phone, this seems a reoccuring problem, too many photos on my phone etc - are there any cool apps for helping get the storage cleaned, from whatever?! Photos would be cool ...

Android? If so the ccleaner is the only one I would probably look at. If its for an iPhone I don't think you can do this due to the way storage is sandboxed for each app.

Android? Give DiskUsage a go. It will show you what is using the most storage.

I can recommend you the Rat Pack Challenge.

It’s a game which helps to sort out photos and other data.

You can sort out with it not only mobile photos, but also huge data... till now I've tried it also with photos, but in a few weeks I've deleted about 200 pictures which are equivalent of more or less 450 MB.

As well as Google Photos for photos, you can also use Google Music to upload your music to the cloud and use the app to stream off from there. There's an option to save a local offline version as well.

@ THe Baron: use that already but thats not the only options as there is laos just limited space.

Problem with Google Photo is when you delete a photo on your phone, it deletes it in Google Photo. I use Google Drive, and sync my photos with Drive Auto Sync. You can have the option where photos are auto updated, and delete photos on your phone, but they remain in Google Drive.

@ runwolf: as the name Rat Pack Challenge says, this app is a challenge... the more photos you delete, the more points you get in the challenge.

But you're not supposed to decide immediately which photos you want to sort out. There's also a cloud where you can put ten photos in.

If you put the pictures in the cloud, they are like in a quarantine... and at latest when you have ten pictures there, you have to decide if you still want to have your these pictures on your smartphone (and you store them back) or you want to delete them.
