April Competition Theme Selection

Age has a broad range of subjects that can be shot and will allow more people to enter something - Will be an interesting one as well to see what people come up with.

Many people don't live near somewhere that differentiates itself well between the seasons so Spring may not be fair for all!
Edit* Although this just means it's a bigger challenge :D

fwiw my vote is for age

I'm going to suggest we close theme voting tomorrow night (i.e. 11:59 friday night) and anything taken in april will be valid (from the 1st, since spring can be rather time sensitive if it is chosen), competition to run until 4th april and can overlap with the next one if we're organised enough.
 
Shutter speed or age.

I'm off to shoot a roller derby on Saturday so either is good for me :p (not that I'll have time to process them for a bit :D)
 
Shutter speed as it's the easy one and I might actually have some time this month to dust off the camera :D

I do have an entry or two that meet the theme, but there is one shot in particular that I want to try out. Hopefully I'll find a location over the weekend...

Transport/movement
Patterns
Colour
 
It was a good idea in theory but I think making it a sticky was more of a hindrance than a help. Even now I was looking for it and forgot it was stuck up top. Maybe it's just me.

I wish I could have taken a bet on this. It is as I said, the themed monthly competitions just don't work. They died off the last time because no one took part and nothing has really changed to help that. Several times people have tried to start the competition and they just gave up before even starting.

I started the March competition because I knew no one else would actually do that despite all the fuss and discussion. I'm actually surprised the March competition was as active as it was.


Its now May and hardly any April entries, and no May theme.

What happened to the people that wanted themed monthly competition?
