I wouldn't have expected there to be an option to enter your own info* - and Acquiss know who you are/where you are. Having said that I don't know anything about this service but it doesn't seem to take them long to reply here
Edit - got in a bit late there....
*people would abuse it in various ways that might be problematical to Acquiss (eg sports streaming)

I'm not 100% sure but fast.com already shows me being in Edinburgh, I wouldn't be surprised that Netflix were that keen to get up to date, accurate IP locations as their business model depends on it.
It depends on which geoip company each websites use. We refresh our data every 1 hour, so it really depends on how quickly each geoip company pulls it. The main commercial service is maxmind, who seem to take upwards of 14 days, but many of the other providers are much quicker than that.
Signed up yesterday and getting switched over from Zen on the 2nd, smooth going so far. Was looking at the cheaper big companies but decided I care about my experience & reliability too much to go below Zen, over the 12 month contract Aquiss works out at about the same price as re-contracting with Zen anyway. Plus its nice to support a 'smaller' business.

Martin, have you considered offering a version of your service that allocates a private IP address to the PPPoE client but routes a public /31 to it? This would let you keep the PPPoE that ISPs are built on and doesn't cause any issues for them but would let people drop a cheap Zyxel or whatever in front of their firewall and still push full line rate through it, while using only 1 more IP address.
I think this is how people like Virtual1 built their broadband services, the "LAN" side of their managed router sat in a /31 and everything else was in private space.

I am pleased to announce that we have introduced a handover with CityFibre in Manchester. This allows us to regionally grab more traffic, more local and into our control earlier. We also have local breakout in Manchester, therefore for an increasingly amount of UK services, who also have a presence in Manchester, routing will be more local (rather than having to be carried to London). Traffic that needs to be carried to London will continue across our core network, rather than using the CityFibre national network. This will give customers a vastly better experience.
This location will be phased in with geographical steering, with the general idea to route those north of Manchester (and local surrounding areas) into this PoP. Those further south (Midlands etc) will naturally continue to breakout in London.
We are already seeing a 1-2ms improvement for the test circuits on the handover that we have moved over. For clarity we are NOT bouncing customers between Manchester and London (which I know is rather popular with another provider).
