Arc Raiders

enjoying this but would like to see some changes to keep interest

id like to see more new missions and special events , as good as cold snap was it dragged on to long , maybe missions for teams would be a thing ? ,

Regards expidition they really need to look at it, i would rather not reset everything and see the game evolve more with maybe a new skill tree for those who do the expedition , a few special blueprints only you can craft

This game has the possibilty to be something you play for 3-5 years if they do it right and keep you interested

Yeah agreed, it's a fantastic game and properly addictive. Best mp game in a long time imo. They just need to keep adding content to keep it fresh.

Anyone getting stuttering recently. I've swapped to a 9070xt from a 3080 and whilst I've been able to ramp up the settings thing don't seem as smooth. I've updated motherboard drivers, windows as well as the games update a few days ago too, so I don't want to jump to any conclusions. I've also turned up the static global illumination setting - though still on static to legendary and now I seem to gettting window shadow pop in...anyone getting this too?

Done a few of the trails so far.

Damage to flying Arc got something like 18k, to be honest could have been a whole load more if I had brought a few more Wolfpacks in.

Done the Shredders as well, was bloody lucky was fighting 2 Shredders but was doing fine, using cover as they shoot, although one caught me, no problem I thought, cover and heal, would have been fine but out of nowhere a bloody pop gets me.

Was like, well, that's ******* annoying.

Anyway crawled around for a little and can hear the shredders I was fighting get finished off, I'm like on the mic " don't suppose you got a defib so you, got caught out by a ******* pop" and the guy did!

I only 2 starred the queen/harvester damage so far, and 2 starred the husks although I was literally 1 off on bloody burried city, if it comes up on Dam it'll be easy to get that though.

I can't remember what the 5th trail is.

Not on the same scale as you but i run a b580 and 7600 and use med-high settings for around 125 fps with no xess. And just static illumination.

Before update my gpu usage was 98% and cpu 55-60.
Now my frames have dropped to around 110 and i get the odd pause in game for around a second but rare.

However gpu usage now at 100 and cpu at 70-73

Yeah it's not stuttering like mad, just a little bit, and you know whenever you buy something new you're always super-critical. It might just be the hitches are little more noticeable now they're mixed in with a higher framerate

Is there away to stop the game untracking items?

Doing the expeditions and every time I had something in it untracks the item and I have to track it again.

So, for example if I need 30 batteries and hand in any number of batteries below 30 it untracks the items.

Its the same when you repair a weapon as well.

I haven't found a way. Just add it to the list

I manually write stuff down on a bit of paper so I can check as I'm looting if I need it :)

This, or in my case I have two monitors so simply have a notepad up on the second monitor with my shopping list.

Also helps prevent my tiny peanut brain from getting distracted by raider flares and fancy lockers and berries and great mullein and surveyors and hornets and raider caches and arc probes and and and.

What's the best place to find Bombardiers? My go to was the top of the car park on buried city but suddenly they've all disappeared

They can be pretty inconsistent.

Near Raiders Refuge on Blue Gate they often pop up.

Sometimes in the trench on Spaceport, or around the middle of the map around the control tower.

You are possibly better getting up to a vantage point on either of those and looking out for the spotter drones.

I remember when I was specifically looking for them, maybe a trail or whatever and it taking maybe 5 drops before finding one.

Of course they are always there when you don't want them to be.

They're "rare spawns" of Bastions. You can see them from quite far as they always have two spotters hanging around. Buried City is by far my favourite spot as you can hop on the Red Tower and see the spotters from a mile off, and there's usually at least a 50% chance of one being on there.

Also, keep in mind that their spotters are their eyeballs so kill them asap. They're a fun fight and WILL nuke you if you let your guard down for even 3 milliseconds.

Running out of things to do now, apart form PvP. Spent around 250 hours in to the game so can't really complain for £20! I've got 6 blueprints left to find but I don't enjoy doing blueprint runs, I've just been finding them during general game play.

I didn't do the last expedition but I have everything loaded up ready to go for the next one but I'm undecided. I don't mind workbenches and levels resetting but losing all the blueprints puts me off doing it.
