Arc Raiders

They've lowered the the expeditition vault costs significantly. I'll still stick to my mule I think.

Store Update 1.30.0

May 26, 2026

Raiders!

We have a little store update today with two new colour variants for the Leviathan Set at the store now, Midnight and Crimson Frost. If you already own the Leviathan Set, they will be unlocked automatically. No need to restart the game!

After analyzing data and the early feedback since Ermal appeared in Speranza, we are adjusting the Expedition Vault pricing this week to encourage more trading. Tier one price will remain the same and all following levels will cost 200.000.

  • T1: 200.000 → 200.000
  • T2: 400.000 → 200.000
  • T3: 600.000 → 200.000
  • T4: 800.000 → 200.000
  • T5: 1.000.000 → 200.000
This week Ermal will have a new set of exciting offers starting today at (6am PDT, 1pm UTC, 3pm CEST):

We will continue monitoring data and feedback for next week!

We are also aware of crashes happening to players on Xbox, as well as FPS issues on PC since 1.29.0. We are actively investigating and working on solutions for these issues. We’ll keep you posted, thank you for your reports.

A note on live updates:
As we communicated in our blog about the changes to how we update ARC Raiders, live updates are going to work just a little differently from what you’re used to.

We plan to deliver a live update every three weeks. These will vary in size and scope, but we will use each one as an opportunity to address your feedback. In between these live updates, we will still be updating and hotfixing when needed, with store and Trials rotations every week. We believe that this process will give us the time and focus we need to make changes that are important to the community.

See you Topside,
//Ossen

I bought the Tier 1, before going on vacation for 2 weeks, so I won't be back to try for T2-5 till June, although I already had 100k parts saved before leaving.

What happens to people who got too excited and decided to spend 400k on the T2 slot already? I didn't on purpose, as I thought the prices would change and I didn't have enough time, but it seems harsh for those that bought tier 2 and possibly beyond. Hard to refund the parts I guess, but they should just bump people up to the level of the new prices imo. I.e. if you already bought T1+T2 then you should automatically be bumped up to T3 (due to the price cut).

They can design the game however they want, but the PVP / extract camping element has finally pushed me away from the game completely. Despite playing completely passively, I had two matches in a row where I got extract ambushed whilst I was doing the computer, and the 100s of steps you have to jump through to get your build back is "meh".

I'm done for now.
Aye we've not played for a good 4-6 weeks now

Jumped in this evening to have a look 2 KOS and then an extract camper with I assume a heavy shield n a shotty

Anyone been on the receiving end of the Rocketeers strafing yet?? I see a YT short of someone on Riven Tides being chased and strafed (as his team mates lol'd at his demise).

Was doing trials this evening and it makes a new sound and a barrage of missiles instead of the odd one or two, instakill if it hits you.

Lobbies have definitely been a bit spicey this week, been jumped on at Blue Gate a few times whilst opening car bonnets down by the broken highway and 3rd partied whilst attacking a Rocketeer at Spaceport. Go into Stella expecting a beating and all I meet are people giving away BPs!

I've not experienced any issues/crashing etc., just longer than usual times to join a game.
For the first time in at least two months, I played a couple of games yesterday. Noticed the long wait times to join a game, took a look at player numbers and looks like the drop in player numbers has been significant which probably explains having to wait so much longer than we used to.

This game is probably one of the best examples of going from hero to zero for me, I couldn't put it down for a good 3-4 months and was playing almost every day. Didn't play for a week or so back in March, after that each and every time I loaded the game up, id play a single game and then turn it back off.

Logged in for the first time over the weekend, and played the absolute bejesus out of it after a few months hiatus. Definitely more chilled now, and apparently the devs have gone completely silent on this game for a while now and the playerbase has dropped 80%. I suspect all the streamers have left too, which will have taken all the irritating kids with them, I wasn't shot at once and I got many hours in.

Still an excellent game to pop on now and then, the new Arc are all really good too, that outdoor rollyball splodeything caught me off guard once and made me **** myself.

Haven't played the new map yet though, will prolly give that a go this weekend.

Still playing this daily, currently on lvl 72 after third reset. Not been in such a rush to level this time. Just enjoying it being more chill than usual.

The waiting times to get into lobbies now are noticeable, so the player base has definitely reduced, but that's to be expected in any game with the hardcore player base remaning.

I imagine all the streamers will be back on this in October when the next big update appears. Until then I'll enjoy the contested areas being quiet!

New update..

Live Update 1.33.0

Raiders!
An unlikely partnership is forming in the Rust Belt.
The Nomadic Envoys have arrived in Speranza, bringing information gathered on their travels across the Rust Belt. Maybe they have insight on why ARC operations seem to be spreading?
Perhaps they’re willing to share what they know - but first, you’ll need to build some trust. Head Topside to bring back supplies, recover forgotten relics, and secure safe passage for travelers along dangerous routes.

WHAT’S NEW?

Forgotten Relics Event

Raiders can unlock rewards by earning Merits, which are automatically converted from XP gained by playing on any map and used to unlock a range of rewards including gameplay items, weapons, and Raider Tokens.
Additional Merits can be earned by tracking down relics scattered throughout the world and tucked away in containers like lockers, drawers, and crates. Each relic carries a different Merit value depending on its rarity, and to claim those Merits, Raiders must successfully extract with the relic in hand.
Progressing through the event also rewards players with the Saltwalker Outfit, its toggles, and more, while Merits earned through Forgotten Relics contribute toward progress in the Converging Paths project.

Converging Paths Project

The Project will run from June 16 through to July 27 calling on Raiders to secure safe passage for the nomads, gather vital supplies, and recover forgotten relics from Topside.
Each stage completed advances the progress of a Display Case which displays the relics uncovered along the way. Raiders who see the project through to the end will walk away with the Red-Black color variant of the Saltwalker Outfit, a Sextant backpack charm, and Raider Tokens, bringing the total earnable this season to 300.

No Free Loadout - Night Raid and Close Scrutiny

We are disabling free loadouts for Night Raid and Close Scrutiny to increase the barrier of entry so that players commit to appropriate risk and reward in these scenarios that have better loot.
This is a time limited change that we will be testing for the next three weeks. We may add this limitation to more map conditions in the future after we’ve observed its impact and analyzed your feedback.

  • Fixed an issue where the healing cloud of Tactical Mk.3 Healing augment could revive DBNO players.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • We know some PC players may experience lower FPS than usual.

  • Shots taken while riding ARC may not register correctly.
  • After a player is revived, some Augments’ health restoration effects no longer pause when taking damage.

ANTI-CHEAT

As part of our ongoing efforts against unfair play, we’re continuing to expand Denuvo Anti-Cheat to more players. We’re pleased with the progress so far, and expect further improvement as we scale up.

In addition, we’ve been focusing on addressing item duplication and taking strict measures against those involved. This means carefully detecting incidents, addressing them directly, and building safeguards to prevent them from happening in the future. It's detailed, methodical work, and we truly appreciate your patience while we see it through.

We’ve also introduced a new inbox message to let you know when we've taken action against a player you reported. Going forward, you can expect to receive two kinds of messages, depending on the situation:

  • Action Notice: A confirmation message sent to you once we have banned a player you reported.
  • Loot Compensation: If we identify a cheater who knocked you out, your lost loot will be returned automatically via an inbox message. No report is necessary.
Because these notifications are independent, you may receive both under certain circumstances. For example, if you report a cheater who also knocked you out, you could get both an action notice and your loot back simultaneously.
Our commitment to anti-cheat initiatives remains a top priority, and we will keep you informed as we work to maintain a fair environment. We appreciate your ongoing feedback and reports, and we thank you for being a part of the incredible journey through Topside.

THE ROAD TO OCTOBER

As you all probably know by now, October is going to mark our biggest update yet. Most of the ARC Raiders team are focused on building the new map, bringing ARC to life, planning new routes of progression, writing quests, testing weapons, and yes, recording new instruments.
We know that this quieter period is taking some getting used to, and we completely understand the desire for more things to do in the game. The balance for us is providing content in the short term through Projects and Events, and building something truly substantial for October, and then every six months beyond.
Because of the way we now distinguish Live Updates and Content Updates, we're able to create a genuinely exciting experience in the Fall. Additionally, our dedicated live service team is able to react to more issues, bugs and better test balance changes in the game, which will continue to improve the overall health of ARC Raiders.
Please continue to leave feedback and share your suggestions, we're constantly adapting and always looking to improve. We have more things coming throughout the Summer and in the run-up to Frozen Trail; the work is far from over!

See you Topside,
The ARC Raiders Team

Getting properly hacked off with this game now, twice I've died because the game just suddenly stopped talking to the servers. Then I'm busy with a quest and as I'm doing the steps, they're not tracking. So I hide somewhere, close the game and try to rejoin the match, nope, we're no longer talking to the servers.

Each time this happens I lose loads of stuff and have to go through the palaver of crafting and kitting out.

It's definitely not my connection.

If it doesn't get sorted soon I'll just delete the game and move on, I cba with games that don't work.

Embark have just posted deatils about the 4th expedition. They are no longer rewarding skill points, instead random blueprints. Details below

The Fourth Expedition

June 25, 2026

9e76d62d-5cfb-ARC-Raiders_Steam_EventHeader_Expedition4_1920x622%20(1)-1024x332.png

The fourth Expedition is almost here, and it’s bringing some exciting changes. Each Expedition we run, we learn something new and look for ways to make improvements. This time around, that means shaking things up with an updated reward structure.

Complete your fourth Expedition to earn the first level of the new Zenith Outfit. Prove yourself with the Expedition Challenge and instead of Skill Points, you’ll earn Blueprints to jumpstart your Topside adventures and Raider Tokens to keep you looking sharp every step of the way.

TIMING

The departure window will be open between the 7th of July 1pm CEST/11am UTC/4am PT and the 21st of July 10am CEST/8am UTC/1am PT. You will have 14 days to sign up and complete the requirements and all players who have signed up will depart automatically.

As with all previous Expeditions, completing your Caravan does not count as signing up for the Expedition, you still have to sign up during the window. The ‘last call’ feature will also be active during this Expedition in case you miss the window.

Expeditions are a personal progression that players complete in order. The Caravan can be completed in between Expedition windows but finishing the Expedition can only be done during the scheduled Expedition window.

HOW TO DO THE EXPEDITION

  1. Complete the Caravan
The option to contribute to the Caravan starts as soon as you complete the previous Expedition and if this is your first Expedition, you can start contributing right away.
  2. Wait for the Expedition Window
The next window opens on July 7th at 1pm CEST/11am UTC/4am PT and closes on July 21st at 10am CEST/8am UTC/1am PT.
  3. Sign Up
Once the Expedition window opens, you need to sign up.
  4. Complete the Challenge
In order to get the rewards, players will need to complete a challenge within the Expedition Window (more details below).
  5. Catch Up
Catch up on missed skill points (max 5 per Expedition) for players on their second, third or fourth Expedition (more details below).
  6. Depart
Everyone that signed up departs on July 21st at 10am CEST/8am UTC/1am PT.

REWARDS

The rewards depend on your personal progression which means that if you’re doing your first, second or third Expedition, you can check your rewards here.

Mystery Rewards

Players embarking on their fourth Expedition will no longer earn Skill Points from the Expedition Challenge. Instead, you'll receive Blueprints and Raider Tokens, delivered after your departure.

The number of rewards you receive is based on damage dealt during the departure window, using the same thresholds as the previous Expedition. Note that unlike Skill Points, these rewards have no catch-up mechanic.

This is the first time we are trying the Mystery Reward system and we will be monitoring it closely to see how it performs and analyse your feedback. As always, we may make changes in the future as we continue to try to improve

To claim all five Bonus Rewards, hit the following damage thresholds before the departure window closes:

  • Reward 1: Deal 5 000 total damage
  • Reward 2: Deal 10 000 total damage
  • Reward 3: Deal 30 000 total damage
  • Reward 4: Deal 50 000 total damage
  • Reward 5: Deal 100 000 total damage
54cffab2-f872-ArcRaiders_ScreenShot_16x9_Expedition4-1024x576.png

Blueprints

Each completed departure objective rewards you with one Blueprint. Keep in mind that these Blueprints are temporary and will reset when you depart on your next Expedition. The Damage Challenge rewards are safeguarded against duplicates, meaning you won't receive the same Blueprint twice. However, this protection does not extend to the Blueprints you have carried over in Ermal's Vault.

  • List of potential Blueprints:
    • Heavy Gun Parts Blueprint
    • Complex Gun Parts Blueprint
    • Padded Stock Blueprint
    • Extended Barrel III Blueprint
    • Muzzle Brake III Blueprint
    • Stable Stock III Blueprint
    • Vertical Grip III Blueprint
    • Venator Blueprint
    • Rascal Blueprint
    • Osprey Blueprint
    • Trailblazer Blueprint
    • Anvil Blueprint
    • Bettina Blueprint
    • Hullcracker Blueprint
    • Tempest Blueprint
    • Vulcano Blueprint
    • Dolabra Blueprint
    • Aphelion Blueprint
    • Combat Augment Mk 3 Flanking Blueprint
    • Tactical Augment Mk 3 Defensive Blueprint
    • Looting Augment Mk 3 Safekeeper Blueprint
    • Looting Augment Mk 3 Survivor Blueprint
    • Wolfpack Blueprint
    • Powered Descender Blueprint
    • Snap Hook Blueprint

Raider Tokens

150 Raider Tokens will be rewarded for completing each departure objective. Unlike Blueprints, they are permanent and will not reset with the next Expedition.

cb020ec8-e050-ARCRaiders_Expeditions-Infographic_04-500KB-1024x576.jpg

Permanent

Cosmetics:

  • Now that the Patchwork Outfit is complete, doing your fourth Expedition will unlock the first step of the Zenith Outfit.
Bonuses:

  • +12 stash space (48 extra total for 4th Expedition), will be maxed out at 60 with the 5th Expedition.
  • The bonus skill points from Expeditions cap at 15. Players can still catch-up on previously missed skill points and it’s still tied to stash value. Catch-up for skill points becomes available with your second Expedition and once you get all the maximum 15 skill points, the catch-up is no longer available.

Consecutive buffs

Consecutive buffs are granted to Raiders that continue to do Expeditions in a row. The XP boost, Scrappy materials boost and repair value increase are capped at three levels, meaning that if this is your fourth Expedition in a row, the boosted values will be maintained from your third Expedition but not increased.

Missing an Expedition window doesn’t remove the progress but will result in the buffs not increasing for the next Expedition period. The buff itself is also not active during the period of the missed Expedition.

You need to do two Expeditions in a row in order to increase the buffs which means if this is your third Expedition in a row, you will get all three levels of the consecutive buffs. If you missed one Expedition window apart from the first one, you should have the second level of the consecutive buffs.

Ermal’s Vault

You can purchase up to five Expedition Vault Slots through Ermal which allows you to store items that you wish to bring with you on your Expedition.

Trials

Just like the previous Expedition, the new Trials Season will start as soon as the Expedition window opens.

New Raiders & Future Expeditions

We understand the frustration of new players that are only now starting to do their Expeditions. We need to find the right balance of rewarding our veteran players but also give new players fair and fun ways to catch up and not feel like they are always behind. This is a continuous effort and we'll keep you updated as we have more to share.

Let us know what you think of these changes and how they feel in practice and keep up the feedback of what you’d like to see in the future.

See you Topside,
//Ossen
And The ARC Raiders Team

i wish there was more slow burn stuff, i only play casually (kids) but all the content is geared to lots of play like a cod battlepass and it always disappears far to quickly. I'm level 75, have done all the quests and now all i have to do is look for blueprints, everything else requires too much play...

Took a long break from the game. Booted it up again and I'm having a great time with it again. The last time I played I signed up for the expedition so when I logged back in I had a fresh start awaiting me. It's been fun going through the motions again. I'm level 32 in the space of two days. Addiction reignited, for now.

Noticeable difference in how long it takes to get into a game but I'm fine with that. I'm getting less runs starting mid round, one of my biggest gripes. There's less raiders on the maps and that suits the feel of the game. Though there's still plenty of action when a matriarch etc are around.

I've had two instances of KOS behaviour. I've not shot first at anyone and don't intend to. First guy downed me but then escorted me to an exit, weird. Maybe he had the damage raiders feat? Second guy took a shot at me as I was waiting for exfil but after lobbing a few sticky nades at him he decided to use my summoned lift instead.
