I'm the same, I don't go looking for PvP and prefer to chill destroying arc etc. For the most part I'm bumping into friendly players but the matchmaking is very odd.
For example, I created a new account using the steam family option. Been levelling a new character, not shot at or defended myself from PvP at all with him. This past weekend I was getting jumped left right and centre. Almost as if my aggression level was on max. Every player I came across opened fire, it was mad. I just ran away and managed to limp to a raider hatch. Every new raid was the same (All on Spaceport mind)
Went back to my main account and decided to go in with just an anvil and a few stims, just incase it was still rife. Nothing, everyone killing arc and helping each other.
So lord knows what's going on with the match making. As always with Arc Raiders, don't trust anyone, don't put yourself in harms way and if you hear a raider flare go off run the opposite way
