Arc Raiders

Managed to take down a Bastion and Bombardier tonight. We found the Bastion limping around in the underground on Blue Gate so just finished it off!

Bombardier was very easy, stunned it and ran up, plopped a deadline on it, ran off, boom! Had harder time fighting wasps :D

Deadline is awesome. Use it behind a bastion and it also one-shots them.

Did you need to position it anywhere in particular on the bombardier? I've got to kill a few of those and some leapers.

Nope, after I stunned it I just ran straight up and stuck it on the front of it's body, nice and easy!
 
Yup I got a bastion kill today, admittedly team of 3.

I also got a lucky rattler it seems.

I chop and change my load out a lot, but when I'm running a pretty junk but just above free load out I have this level 3 rattler just with basic mods.

However I've had this rattler now for ages, I mean I wouldn't even really use it or bother to upgrade one anymore, I reckon I had probably 20 runs with it.

I'm starting to think it's blessed
 
Had a fun raid just now where everyone was nice, lots of "don't shoot" without shooting. Was heading to extract and there was a rocketeer patroling and between 3 poorly equiped randos we managed to eventually take it down. Not saying I was the one that first drew the agro, or that I ran out of shield and heals, but that random wolfpack I looted did help quite a bit to remove some armour.

I just solo'd my first Bastion in the tunnels lots of explosives and good cover. I did wonder how I was going to deal with the Bombardier stunning and deadline seems a good solution. Also just found a Wolfpack.
 
Things are about to get interesting on the US servers. There's now a streamer war brewing with 2 factions being declared. The Bungulators (using red skins) vs FMF (blue skins), with basically every big streamer joining a side, they're all recruiting players, their stream snipers, basically amassing armies. If it spills over to the EU servers then expect things to get a bit nutty for a few days. War has kinda begun now but they're expecting the real kickoff to be on Sat.

I believe you can force your server preference in the options so I might do that for the weekend and join up with the FMF

That's brilliant I hope it does spill over into EU, if not I may have to try venture into their servers and see how it is.
 
I ventured into a new map for the 1st time earlier

I was in a free loadout and found a key (no idea what for ) and some other pink stuff. alas I got taken out my of of the larger mechs and left with nothing. oh well!
 
Recently just gave this a go and glad i did havin a thoroughly good time. Only level 19 so far, managed to pick up a legendary anvil mod yesterday and get out with it :D

Had a game just now with some guy running around playing Benny Hill theme on proximity and then we are the champions when extracting :D
 
I shot at my first raider today. I helped someone out who was getting hassled by a wasp. I couldn't see the person but after the wasp was down shots were fired at me. After making a tactical retreat i lurked about spotting the raider I opened fire hitting my target. Then made another tactical retreat as I was getting smashed.
At the end of the game I checked the interactions with other players only to discovered I had shot the wrong person.
The games still lots of fun and most encounters are friendly. However Ive noticed that I get sniped at more frequently.
 
I hate it when you spawn late on the map.

Happened today literally thought **** it and just extracted lol.

Some guy was extracting at the same time I was having a right moan at him about it in open chat, probably thought I was BS him saying I didn't have nothing when in fact loaded.

But I wasn't lying had nothing. Anyway we both extracted peacefully.

Lol, I had the feat to Return from Spaceport, so I went in and just went straight to the exit, but I had entered late on the map. I got to the exit and there was a guy there, he says hello, I say hello, and then he says "you're just walking, so you must be weighed down with loot, I should probably shoot you" , I said "you can shoot me if you want but you wont find any loot, I'm walking because I often do walk" (I do indeed often walk about in the game rather than running :) ) , he didnt shoot anyway
