Always "Hey Raider, dont shoot". 80% of the time its fine however its felt a bit off since the last update. People feeling a bit more hostile. Maybe I've just been unlucky, updates always drags lots of people back.Do you do the "don't shoot" thing? I've had countless encounters with people who are also just trynna do quests, and a quick "don't shoot" usually de-escalates things very quickly. I'd say 80% of my encounters are friendly, the other 20% are just knobs who kill for the lols.
That said I'm always on high alert if anyone's silent or not responding. Usually my spidey senses are correct.
I also talk a lot on my mic, and have had quite a few very interesting encounters as a result. Some outright hilarious ones too.
I run a zero trust policy, it takes an actual act of assistance or friendlyness to disarm me. Not one to cut about without weapon drawn ever.
I'm not set up for ingame chat to speak. I do have a headset but I despise wearing it. Not that it matters even if I did nobody would understand my Jockenese anyway, "Alright paaalll!!! Dinnie shoot!!!"
