Arc Raiders

Trying to fend off the a comet or 2 with a level 1 rattler...oooft. Just trying to gather up as much basic resources as poss to start with.

Been playing this casually with 2 friends. (Only 30 hours since launch most of that spent sorting my storage out and trying to work out what I need to craft certain items - slowly getting used to everything I need to upgrade weapons etc now).

Id like to get into it a bit more this season - One thing that im really struggling with is the skill tree. I really have no idea how effective each skill is and whats worth investing in. Am i being stupid I cant actually see what effect each skill has on your char. Currently have quite a few unused one as Im unsure whats actually strong skills to pick.

ie Loot quicker perk how much quicker 0.1%, 1%, 10%, 100%

No doubt im being an idiot and missing something.

This is a great quick guide for the skill tree. Basics are get your stamina maxed out on mobility then move over to survival and head towards secuirty breach. This is if you're looking for max looting potential.

I keep seeing a lot of videos of this game and seriously thinking of purchasing it. How friendly is it to a solo player?
Am I going to be more frustrated than anything else?

I played it and done all quests available solo, mostly carebear matchmaking but still some pvp too.
Great experience but i dont know if i want to jump in this reset as i cant se myself redoing all the quests again.

Nah its fine, once you get to a certain point the arc becomes fairly easy.

I have more fun in Solo so far. Generally people seem less ratty. As soon as I join doubles or trios, everyone in the lobby is trying to kill you. I don't typically PVP either, 99% PvE. (friends also don't like the PvP, so try to PvE)

5 more mushrooms to find ..... :o:p

Lukcy you, not got one yet.

Was trying to run Dam Hurricane as there are actually quite a lot of mushroom spawns but every bloody time, wrong side of the map and like 18 minutes left.

Then of course, when that ended and it went to normal map condition, correct side of the map and 30 minutes......

Frustrating.

That tree on spaceport always spawns 3.

each reset i've thought to myself, should i......will it add a bit of longevity to the game for me?! then i see posts in here bemoaning the bad luck not finding mushrooms or whatever it might be and i realise i'm quite happy with a full load out :p

I'd say that is a place to avoid.

Everyone and their dog knows that spot, if you are not there in 5 seconds they'll be gone plus if someone is going to setup camp, it'll be there.

There are loads in the Dam if you know where to look but you need a special map condition really.

Just bloody typical I was spawning the wrong side with 10+ minutes gone and the exits at the wrong spots.

Necer died there, probably more people looking bow though.

Managed to finish of the Trophy display with about 7 Stella runs on free loadouts, both the Exodus modules and the Geiger counter dropped in the same run.
That 300k has my stash all upgraded except for the last one.

I now have a very large, very empty, stash with a slightly unbalanced arsenal.
