Arc Raiders

I got screwed trying to loot the new rockets, each button bugged out on me and none would open even though the lasers were up.
Unless I was missing something.
did the breach option show up? AFAIK it's only breachable if the rotating platform is in the right spot.... so even if you manage to glitch it and not fall off before the platform arrives (I have managed this) you still can't open it up and the breach option does not appear until the platform comes around .

Breach button didn't show up. I think it was grayed out, can't remember exacty. Was annoying, the first time I managed to have enough time to actually inspect without getting ****** on by the new Vapouriser, lol

I've tried it twice with $60k kits and got killed, but it's impossible without the right gear, I think I need to do a duo or solo to discract the arc

naaah don't use high gear at least until you get used to it.
make sure you have 2 prison pockets (3 is ideal but not essential)

take in smoke grenades and (the 1 thing which does cost a bit, that electric cloak makes it so much easier.

when you get closeish take your your cloak out of your safe pocket,.equip it and fire it off then walk towards the rocket. walk up to the breach point and wait for the platform to come around (In my experience the one with the platform on is already occupied by another player)
once your cloak is about to run out fire a smoke directly in front of you then put your electrocloak in your safe pocket.
as soon as the rotating platform gets to you the breach option will show up.

then breach, drop another smoke and search. spam everything into your backpack putting in either any blueprint or the assessor core into your other safe pocket... as soon as you are done leg it! if you live then great. heal up and go to extract. if you go down and no one revives you well you still get what was in your safe pocket including most importantly your electro cloak.

imo you want to spec either for assessor cores (as above) OR for shooting the new ships for the other part, which needs decent guns and shield and heals.
(at least until you are used to it) pick what you want to do in advance and do that.

Thanks man.
I've actually been meeting some super friendly people in friendly lobbies defibing me death after death, but it was after I have up my expensive loadout and was running free loadoats, so it was kind of pointless, lol
I appreciate the comradery though :)

Whoop, whoop! Got to Dolabra blue print baby! Some legend revived me after I had trouble yoinking it. Turns out you can#t drag directly to safe pcket. Need to just click to get it in your inventyory, then you can move it, never realised under the pressure!
We were lucky they between the whole group that was there we had anhiliated all the arc by the time the time shortly after I had been revived.
I zipped lined in from a building to the base of the rocket with my photoelectric cloak, threw a few smokes and hoped for the best! :-D

For Assesors, I favour zip lining in, with the cloak activated if there is already aggro, although if you are first there, you can usually get to the platform without activating the cloak. Then smoke, loot, cloak and zip line out.
On Dam I tend to hang out in the swamp, and you can usually zipline in from one of the domes. Failing that, start your zipline from some bushes so you drop straight into cover when you zip out. Biggest danger is other players will use you zip lines too, so you might find yourself bumped off on exfil :)

I'm not sure if the Assesors always land in the same spots, but on Buried City, they have at least 4 times landed in front of Grandioso Apartments where the pond and solar panels are. From here you can zip straight down from one of the higher floors, and then zip back up straight into hard cover. If I go with this strat, I'll take a Hullcracker too, after grabbing a couple of Assesor Matrix, I'll try take down a Vaporiser or two, and again zip down to loot.
I thought I had a genius plan when I took two cloaks in, thinking I could hit all three platforms in one swoop - turns out your cloaks must all use the same battery, which I only discovered when I attempted to loot the third platform, switched to my "spare" cloak and saw nearly zero charge. I panicked and got killed about 3 times over :D

You can drop straight into your safe pocket, so long as it is empty, what it won't allow you to do is swap whatever is currently in the safe pocket directly with whatever it is you are taking from the container. I think there are other containers in the game that behave the same. Took me around twenty Assesors to get the Dolabra, which I have not crafted yet, I need a couple more Vaporizer Regulators for the project.

Haha, yeah I google that before trying it. Apparently is shares the same battery as the Snap Hook, which is kinda dumb IMO as they're two seperate items

Ahh you know what, that might have been the case. I had the snap hook, cloak and something else in my prison pocket, so was probably that

You should definitely be able to take two cloaks in though, although maybe they did it for strategic purposes you can't can't wanter around for ages wiht like 20 cloaks, lol

I really wish the stash was larger, not sure I CBA to do the exhibition and start over though just to get a little more space

I did the expedition once. whilst I am not saying I will never do it again I am not doing this one.

the extra space does help BUT that said.... once all the missions are done, your work benches upgraded and the expedition caravan built (for just in case) inventory management is easy.

I have a bunch of things I still need to do in the game. finish off the projects, kill a matriarch, get all the BPs and then last of all get the PvP achievements but after that I think I will be done, with the odd pop in to check new stuff. it's been a blast though and realistically probably another 25hrs to go.

I think thats it for me with this game - enjoyed it for the time I spent on it - just chilling out finding parts / shooting arc / crafting etc, but every game Ive been put in recently Ive got quickly shot by other players with no warning, which is a playstyle Im not interested in and dont enjoy. A large part of the fun of this game for me was helping other players and working together, if I keep getting shot by people sneaking up behind me with no chance to respond its just not fun and the whole vibe has changed to something im not into. Does this make me a 'care bear'? Possibly, Im just not into the aggressive and unpleasant people Ive run into the last few times Ive played it.
