I wouldn't have thought that was the best way of killing the hype though :confused: Surely just not touring would keep it down a bit, doing it this way will just put some people off from going in the future, I know I'm not as eager to see them anymore as I once was. And I'd say touring is important, probably the main source of revenue! So they should try and build up their live reputation not knock it down!
 
I don't think it was bad performances as such that has put a downer on the nme tour performance, but more their attitude/interaction. I couldn't say though as I didn't attend any of the gigs.
 
Spot on with the attitude/interaction converse, BUT that is what makes gig special. They performed the songs well, but their performance on the tour was **** imo. If you get what I mean. :)
 
Every time i've seen them (not on the nme tour) they have interacted well with the crowd.

They are playing abroad this month to try and let the hype die down a bit before the album tour, then they are touring abroad again after the tour for the same reasons. They want to play a lot of foriegn festivals this summer aswell.

Anyways check out Reverend, he's a proper nice bloke and the makers are a very unique band.
