I agree, it is confectionary, but what on earth is a Pontefract Cake? How those vile things can have the word "cake" after them is beyond me. I was very disapointed as a child the first time and last time I bought those

On that site it specifically says '2 Finger KitKat is the UK's number one biscuit.'

If I asked someone to get me a chocolate bar and they came back with a Kit Kat I would wonder what on earth they were on

I had a Kit Kat Chunky out of the Potteries Centre the other week and it was solid chocolate.
There was no way I was complaining.

there was a legal case many years ago in relation to Jaffa Cakes

I thought biscuits were exempt from tax, but chocolate biscuits were not as they are considered a luxury?
