An observation - the fact that we have strict family rules and hardly any insults (plus a copious team of mod who sometimes seem to live on these forums) mean that we have one of the most pleasant-to-browse forums?

Just surfing a few others for information and I didn't realise just how much of a haven for insults and unneccesary bad language forums can be...

I havent used many, but this is by far and away the best. Loads of users, quality and range of topics is second to none, mods do their job well (im not sucking up!) and everyone is friendly. :D

i think so.

i was a member on a few forums before ocuk.. but ive slowly and parted from them, because hardly anyone responded to questions or querys. the lack of control on content.. i.e. outrageous avatars and signatures. when i joined these forums i was happy that the main information in a post is the content... and not some porno going in an avatar :p

and the huge base of users it has here, almost instant response on most topics.. good and bad...unhelpful and helpful :)

one of my favourite things about this forum is the limit on signature sizes. I cant stand forums where people have about 5 flippin sigs, meaning it takes forever to scroll down the page.

If I ignore the poor grammar in the title, I'd say yes :p

See the web address you are using? forums.overclockers.co.uk

Forums, meaning more than one - so since OcUK thinks of itself in third person collective I think I am okay to refer to it as such...

Yes. Without a doubt THE best on the internet. I'm a member of numerous other forums but I choose to spend my time here. Through these forums I've met dozens of new people, learned new things and received good sound advice. I'd be lost without this place. I often wish I could give something more back, but posting is what keeps the community going.

yeah i like it, the people are usually a good laugh, and the hardware section is great. Personally i dont like a few of the rules, but im not going to argue.

I think that the forums are great but I there should be a change of colour scheme say every few months (someone notify if this does happen every year :p ) :D

must say. this forum has lotsa professionals that you can sort out nearly all problems..
but i sometimes think this forum over estimates the power of swearwords. with strict rules. its not that im complaining im just saying :D

Well it's big enough to get bussy but not too big not to know the posters, now if we could post anal porn that would be ace, but we can only hope...

I've stuck around this place much longer than anywhere else. Moderation is usually spot-on, and the strict(ish) rules make for a friendly, spam-free environment.

So yeah, in my eyes it's one of the best forums out there.

I hear the Underbosses do a great job here, could be wrong though.

I've joined a few PC related forums in the past but there's only two I now visit. OcUK is by far the more pleasant and more professional/presentable of the two.

I like this place, and have never come across anywhere that offers the same level of community spirit and the same quality of advice. :)
