Are Projectors good for gaming?

Once I get my own place I'm definitely going to have a projector instead of a TV. You can still connect a Sky box, PS3/Xbox and computer to it right? So it's basically a complete replacement for a TV. Only problem is the lighting levels though.

yep via hdmi or scart(if you dont have skyhd)

havent got it ceiling mounted yet only have it on a table atm.

Sky SD is pretty good almost as good as my plasma tv but not quite (my plasma did SD images really well tho)

SKY HD channels picture is excellent. Better than on the plasma

Yep i can notice the rainbow effect but its not really bothersome. Have to mess around with the settings.

dont need to switch on my heating ever again if i sit next to the projector

gonna get dinner and watch a bluray
