I love the fact that the guns, sorry, rifles they use look like children's toys as they are practicLly plastic!!!

I found it hard to believe they could actually kill someone!
 
No gangs round our way but if you go to the wrong parts of south Auckland things can get very interesting very quickly. The Mongrel Mob may have a funny name but they're not particularly funny people.

By your description I'm assuming you mean the SA80... they're what we're trained on and use in Afghanistan against the Taliban :p
 
why are people pointing out they live in a nice area and have never seen a woman never mind a gang ?

really why point this out, do the rest of us really care ?

i'd rather read someone who has seen it all, much more interesting then some toff who's never seen a city in his life:rolleyes:

The Met Police are trying to play down that there is Postcode wars going on, but looking at the headlines it's quite obvious that there are young gangs of animals who like to knife those from different Estates.

That said, while all this is going on I don't really see these gangs. I think they can't congregate anywhere too public as they would likely be moved on.

I think the ones most vulnerable to gangs are young teens and anyone who looks patiulatly vulnerable.
 
when ever you hear about gangs on tv you can almost guarantee, they'll be black and from london.. that doesnt mean im racist, thats just pointing out a fact..gangs ive seen only go after cars and houses..
 
No gangs as such. The odd groups of youths by the shops but generally there's no trouble.

I still see the odd idiot from school who has aspired to be nothing but yet still thinks he's God's gift/Hard man/Bad man.

Having said that I was involved in an altercation with a group of idiots the next town over when I was 18 which involved the rear window of my car getting smashed.
 
People still say "coloured"? Isn't everyone coloured? I don't remember seeing people with transparent skin.
 
I'm sure there are gangs local to me, there's definitely crime, mostly drug related, but the "gangs" aren't out roaming the streets messing with anyone who steps on their turf. As far as I'm aware it's almost all drug driven again, that's where turf wars do come in, next to never involves anyone who's not part of it though.

I live in Moss Side.
 
My local gang has released a new "video", they cause so much hassle in the area and i'm pretty sure they've all been locked up at least once. I will admit though, the song is kinda catchy

I've had quite a few encounters with them myself but i've always come out relatively better off, some sort of miracle :P.
