"are we human or are we dancing"

I'm sick of the Killers. Loved them at first, but slowly grown out of them as everyone else seems to be falling in love with them, same thing is happening with Kings of Leon.

ahh, so you're one of those people who instantly goes off bands as soon as they start to become popular as they're not "cool" anymore?

Think both bands have done some cracking stuff, the only issue I can see is that they both do get played to death on the radio etc and as "Human" and "Sex on Fire" have been in the charts for months, you do perhaps get a bit bored.....

Will be seeing both bands at Benicassim in July, looking forward to it.

Not at all, I love the Arctic Monkeys, Muse, Foo Fighters etc... They are pretty popular and I don't care how they are perceived, or any other band for that matter, I just like them.

However, it's the way certain bands change their style, Radiohead pulled it off (well some will say they didn't, but this is my opinion.), but The Killers, KoL and Bloc Party as well, are just bands that I liked at the beginning but not liking the direction they are taking now. Obviously it's working for them though, as they are everywhere like a rash.

Kings of Leon can write one good song an album and a whole lot of average.

Have you listened to any of their first three albums? Aha Shake Heartbreak in particular, theres a few more than 3 good songs there.

And why dont the killers make Hot Fuss: Vol.2? As thats what everyone is waiting for.

i know what you mean i feel exactly the same about both bands, i find kings of leons new stuff bland in comparison to the first two albums...
