Are you afraid to play certain games?

Can I ask a serious question? Why do people put age limits to their fear.

I understand growing out of being afraid of the dark, as you know nothing is in the dark.

But in games, the fear is real, Yeah it can't hurt you, But its there. The zombies will hurt your character, the things that jump out at your will hurt your character. Hense there's a fear attached, You're submerged in a virtual world. When i'm playing a game, I am so intensely THERE lol.

I don't get this, Im not 12, I wont be afraid attitude. You hit 13 and all of a sudden Pyramid head in Silent hill is like a fluffy teddy bear carrying a meat cleaver?

I would say for me it because I grew up and realised that nothing unreal can actually hurt me in any way. It's being able to distinguish between reality and fiction, which many people I know have problems with. There is quite a difference between fear and being made to "jump" a bit. Thats not fear, simply suprise and its reaction.
