Not really - I do find them useful though
I read em when I'm bored but I have a life outside of here and if the forums were shut down tomorrow I'd still survive.
I used to be here much more but the atmosphere changed after the nuke, it's becoming a bit too monopolistic for my liking (everyone is scared of posting anything about anything that vaguely resembles a competitor, or saying anything that might be misinterpreted as a negative remark)
Spie, I love your shop (I buy thousands of pounds worth of stuff from you), and your forums are great but just be careful you're not trying to turn into Bill Gates. Concentrate on making OCUK the most desirable shop we wanna spend our money at and we won't even need to mention competitors cos they'd be sub standard in comparison.

I used to spend a lot of time reading/lurking before the nuke, but now my girlfriend and I have gotten a lot closer and I spend a lot of my time with her instead!

I never said it wasn't a desirable shop, it has a excellent range of equipment, a good aftersales team and good prices (hence I spend a large amount of money both for personal and work use with yourselves).
What I guess I'm saying is that if you made it *THE* most desirable shop then every single member of this forum would buy *everything* from you and we'd only mention competitors when we were laughing at them.

I spend a lot of time here, but if I wasn't able to come here (ie: Work commitments, etc) then I wouldn't lose any sleep.
But I do find them helpful and have managed to convince a few people that the answers given in the forums are of a very high standard, and can be used for business purposes, not just for home.

certainly the most interesting computer forums I have come across, the general interest and motors forums are a very interesting read, and Genral Discussion is very entertaining.
I only wish I could make the time/effort to post more (interesting+ useful) stuff here rather than being out of my depth sometimes!

It's a good place to get info and the odd laugh, but I answered to number 2.
I normally have the forums minimised on my puter at work so it looks like I'm here more than I am.

spend quite a bit of time here now, though not half as much as I used to pre-nuke. Made me think theres more to life than an internet forum
