Ive been to the Betty Ford clinic more than 3 times, this time it was working but Im getting the urge once more!!!!;)
 
No 2 for me.

I'm not an addict and I would spend a week crying if the forums disappeared, but I would miss them.

These forums have a much better overall content than many, and I do visit a fair bit - though not as much as I used to. Quality does go up and down, especially in GD - but then it does everywhere.

The jewel in the crown is the technical forums. The people here have a wealth of knowledge and are quite willing to share it. There are forums around where asking a simple question will get you a nasty put-down from the 'experts' who seem to think that you should already know the answer to a simple question. Here, you get a polite, considered and usually very helpful answer.

We owe Spie our thanks for providing the facility, but the real kudos goes to the many excellent members who provide the support I mentioned above and who make this place what it is.
 
I voted 3. Whenever they go down for maintenance or whatever reason I always find myself bored and with nothing to do. It's sad, but it's the truth.

Voted 4. Spent five days without the forums and missed them (even though I've only been here two months).

Done this before? 'Forums unavailable', wait 60 seconds, F5, rinse & repeat. I have:)
 
well i am very grateful for these forums cos i would never of learnt the things about computers that i know now.

i regard myself as a competant peep in the computer hardware sector and i dont believe i would be in that state if it wasnt for the help of the people on here.

i dont spend as much time on here as i would like cos ive got lots of uni work to do. :(

but i try and get on here whenever i can.

Just becasue I've nothing better to do! :o

Then again, I bet 80% of my posts are from work :eek:
 
Forums are forums, if they went tomorrow I wouldn't really care.

I still like 'em though compared to most OC shops forums which are pretty dire in comparison these days!
 
Hmm.. used to be the last one but now it's probably 3 cos the gf doesn't like me spending so much time on these mighty fine... you get the idea.

Still, I need my daily dose of online Eastenders (normally when she's in the shower tho ;) )
