Or are you one of those people who through a lack of awareness gets in everybody elses way?

Do you stop and adjust wallet/change in the doorway of shops ignoring others who are trying to get in or out?

Do you stand and talk to checkout operators or stand in the way and adjust your gear regardless of the queue behind you?

Do you stop to let oncoming traffic through without paying any attention to the rest of the road users in the immediate vicinity?

Do you obliviously walk in front of and or stand in front of people who are trying to look at a store display regardless of the fact that they are quite blatantly looking at the section you've just blocked?

If so please give yourself a hearty slap for me :)

Yes had this today already many times, bloody women leaving prams in middle of aisle's, and walk up and down them grrr, nobody in the right mind is going to move the pram though :/

I'd say I'm about 70-80% aware... but I do on the odd occasion do it - but usually because I'm dealing with a million things at once... it gets on my nerves when 2 people start talking blocking the path and completely oblivious to anyone else.

Oh thank god, i thought it was just me, this is one of my biggest pet hates.

Mostly these people seem to lose all reasoning and awareness as soon as they step into an underground station.

+standing at the gate without swiping
+standing at the gate repeatedly swiping an oster card that's not working
+standing in the way either at the top of bottom of any stair/escalator
+standing in your way on the train so you can't reach a free seat.

Yup gets on my nerves as well, i swear half of them know they're doing it they just fancy being awkward.

So give them a clip round the back of the head for me ta. ;)

I'm not one of these people but i do loathe the people that are, especially those that just stand in the middle of an isle at a supermarket chatting, grrr

every second i am awake i am aware of a 1m radius around me. This will extend if i am near a road.

I was going down an escalator which was obviously crowded in T5 at Heathrow the other day, and a foreign couple got off the at the bottom, took one step forward and stopped! By now theres a steady stream of ppl piling into the back of them, me included, everyone starts shouting at them to get out of the way and I beleive on woman actually fell to the floor. They were eventually shoved forwards (pretty difficult to avoid this as theres a heaving mass of humanity bearing down on them) and pushed aside. They looked round and stared at us wonderong all the time what the problem was. Needless to say, some fruity comments were made by the other ppl travelling away:D
Talk about not being aware of whats going on:rolleyes:

I'm always aware, and I can't stand those that aren't i.e those that stand in doorways UNAWARE of people standing behind them waiting to get in.
