Are you drinking tap water or buying water from shops?

Tap water currently but considering change, its so bad I have to descale kettle every 2-3 weeks, way more often than people quote for hard water areas.

Tap water.
Also around 2 litres of water from the cold shower at my gym poolside almost daily.
It's way colder than the drinking tap and much faster to fill

We forget how much of an inconvenience it is buying bottled water until we're abroad, something like 5 or 6 litres a day when exercising. That's a lot of carrying from the local shops/garage/supermarket and the cost does add up.

When I see people buying bottled water in the UK my face goes  Huge plastic waste too. If tap water is drinkable without causing illness, it should be.

I just looked at the price for this stuff. Like £1.50 for 1.5L. We'd need three of those a day so that's like £4.50 a day on water. Madness.

Indeed.
I would be interested to know the total % of plastic waste thats from water bottles. Probably quite high

Tap usually, but sometimes our tap water contains a foul oil odour that can be both smelled and tasted, in these cases we grab our stash of bottled water and use that until the bad batch of wate is cleared out. Usually we leave the tap running at that point for a good long while. Testing it every so often for signs its cleared up.

Tap water. It's the chlorine taste I just can't get enough of it!

It really is grim this way. I used to use a Brita should go back to something like that. (Lid broke and I never replaced it)

No idea how people can drink tap water in this country.. well at least down here in London... It tastes absolutely disgusting. Not to mention has stuff just floating in it.

I drink bottled water 100% of the time.

Filtered tap water. Generally with milk after passing through ground beans at 2bar.

I do enjoy a bottle of Highland Spring sparkling, but that's a very low percentage of what I drink.

Yarp. I’ve been drinking hard water in London since I was a child. I could never do the bottled water thing because of the environmental impact.

Now that I’ve moved into my own place a few years ago, I drink tapwater from a Harvey’s water softener which has a mild sweetness to it. It tastes amazing when chilled. The only problem is drinking water anywhere else in London is now filthy.
