I'm related to someone sorta famous, although unless you know about the History of Newcaslte then you probably won't have heard of him. His name was Harry Clasper and he has a hooge bronze statue as his gravestone, he was also given the Dun Cow in Dunston as a thank you form the town. He was famous for rowing across the Tyne and round the coast of England.

Apparently, according to my mum so this may not be true, I used to play football with Paul Gascoinge when I was a kid as his parents used to live near me. I think my mum may have been telling porkies.

I am distantly related to Auf Wiedershen Pet and Likely Lads writer Ian la Frenais, although it is distant by marriage or something. Never met him.

On another note, my best friends cousin is the guy in the bacardi breezer advert set in the train station - he's the one that kicks the trolley and catches the limes in the glass. He's also in the new advert where he watches himself drunk, the one that tries to get people to act more respectably
