Why is this place so unknown about? If the US Government insist that there is no aliens or ufos in there then why not prove it?
Do you actually believe in aliens and ufos?

It is quite interesting reading up on it but the main question is...do you ever think we will get to know what's inside Area 51?

I don't believe they are just testing weapons and aircraft. There must be something else.

That's what they want you to think. They don't have to prove a thing so they won't. Secrecy is of utmost importance to national security.

1 - I thought it was no secret.

2 - How could they prove it? They escort visitors around and when they say you can't go in that room because we're testing a secret weapon then everybody will think thats where the Aliens are. Not workable.

3 - I believe in Aliens but on their own worlds. What they look like is another matter. I believe in UFO's because thats what they are - Unidentified Flying Objects. Do I believe that Aliens fly in UFO's? - Definitely not.

4 - No. Top Secret weapons testing area so yuo won't stand a chance.

5 - So you really believe that Aliens are there? Perhaps they work there so lets hope they have a Union.

Considering how much time and money is spent on creating the latest military hardware, and how much time and money is spent by other countries trying to get information on that hardware I can quite beleive that Area 51 is just a R&D facility for the U.S. armed forces - it fills a couple of very handy requirements, easy to defend/maintain security on, and out of the wa.

I believe it is just their area for testing new weaponry and technology. It would be irresponsible to hold these tests in a public place, for everyones safety. I don't think it's just a secrecy thing, although it is a factor.

Remember, tests go wrong.

Didn't they develop the SR-71, the stealth bomber and other planes there?

It's secret because they don't want the technology they're developing to be known to their enemies. The UFO thing could be true, I don't know so I can't say for certain. It does however play into the hands of the USA in terms that it's a handy cover up story and leads to many conspiracies.

I remember watching a documentary once, where many locals thought the stealth bomber was an alien craft because of its strange shape.

And don't forget that I personally believe that most Area 51/Alien stories have been leaked by the US Govt to keep the people off what is really going on in there.
Georges Bushes personal strip club?

Or couldn't they have built a huge runway and other stuff to keep people off what is really going on in there in terms of ufos/aliens?

^^ Oh and isn't it ironic how building 51 has 'unknown use'

Or when people say 'they have alien technology kept in there' it's just new technology, presumably incredibly advanced. US Military budget is huge, there was a big hoohar about the stealth bomber, as already mentioned. No aliens, just lots of hi-tech weaponry. Leaks about alien stuff are probably deliberate, if people in that state knew they were developing stuff like bombs that could probably wipe out a state or country they'd be pretty ticked off :)

Just reminded me of the f-117 stealth fighter. Really nice aircraft.
That's another of Lockheed's creations. And it should have been designated the B-117. They had to give the F (fighter) designation, or all the good pilots would have snobbed a bomber.

If they had an alien corpse or whatever why would they keep it a secret and for such a long time?

Not to scare people maybe  .

However, surely someone who worked there and retired (if their allowed) would know what happens there and be able to tell the world what happens there. Obvously no-one with a few brain cells would do this at least until their on their death bed in case they end up "disappearing".

Isn't it a serious offence to tell anyone what happens in there, even if you are retired?
