Theres only about 3 publishing houses in the UK and each one turns out about 3 versions of the same junk rehashed each month anyway.
Thats why theres 30 magazines called Tactical Air Superiority assault gunner and Stuff! and other rediculously named things aimed at 15 year old boys that cant get hold of jazz mags.
I read New Scientist, Focus, PC Zone and my brothers Total Guitar/Guitarist..
occaisonlly Music Tech Magazine aswell - its pretty cool with some awesome gear reviews.
I find New Scientist can be quite dull some weeks though, and Focus can at times be rather retarded (ie the Q&A section, evidence = "Why do clouds float!")
Music Magazines are usually a good read, as is New scientist (as mentioned before).
Custom PC is always good when you want to see people putting PC's in microwaves and ginger bread houses
Haha, there are plenty of niche magazines, but as they have such a small readership they rearely get shelf space at your local shop.
I mean, whats the local guy going to give priority to? Heats celebrity fat-thigh special or Carpet Laying monthly.
