if this Vid dosen`t help sell this game nothing will !!!

btw check ya shorts after watchin it ;)

Lots of bullets, some poor lighting and not a single enemy solider, I'm dissappointed. :(

Edit: What the hell @ the muzzle flash, looks like a gif with 3 frames.

1500 AI ... and he managed to kill... 0!! so gets the thumbs down in my book. I dont think he even see's 1 AI until the last 10 seconds before he dies.

The lighting is horrible especially on the ground cover, and there are laods of Z fighting issues with the particles. For a PC version this should be looking a lot better..

*sigh*

think all you guys are missing the point .. it`s not just how it looks lighting an all ..

put ya self in that guys postion !

that has to be the closest thing i`ve seen in PC games that made go omg that is WAR ..

an iam not taking anything away from guys who have served an being in truely life or death situtations like that , but as a civiy thats what i`d say it must look like an feel like .

remember the first time u stormed the beach in MOH it`s that feeling ..

it`s not a FPS shooter where u rack up the kills/points it`s about staying alive ..

Exactly

About 4.45 into the clip he looks right then left. It looks to me like the smoke blows to the right when he looks right and to the left when he looks left.

And the grass flattens infront of him instead of as he passes over it.

I've seen a few of these clips of huge battles and they all fail to show one thing...................the enemy.

All that walking to engage the enemy, it was bad enough in BF2 if you got left without transport at the start of a map. I know it's supposed to be a sim of war, but first and foremost it's a game and as such it should be entertaining and fun to play.

Its very entertaining to play if you can get on with the difficulty curve. All that vid shows is a scenrio someone has put together using the games editor, hes just placed a crap load of opposing units and let them go at it. The actual missions are a far cry from the chaos portrayed in the vid.

I think you're missing the point somewhat... For some people that is fun!

If you're dumb enough to not have comms with the rest of your team and get left behind and picked off, tough luck. :)

DAMN !!!
Was looking forward to this until I watched that vid. :(

Gutted.

Goddamn, the speech in those videos is SOOOOOOOOOO annoying. Its like a single sentence is being spoken by 5 different voices, and surely nobody in the armed forces refers to people as "missile soldiers"

I totally agree, the voice acting and scripting leaves a lot to be desired... But then, I couldn't write an AI speech system that can shout 'Jacko, your eleven, two-hundred meters, **** with the RPG, drill him!' or something equally spontaneous in twenty different ways in any given situation instead of a generic line. :p

Hehe, well granted, neither could I. Then again thats not my career :)

Obviously its difficult to come up with a lot of dynamic speech, but surely at the least they could have come up with something better sounding than "missile soldier". Sounds so...I dont know..just sounds like something from Red Alert or Terminator :)
