CPC is the worst of the Altis life servers that I tried.

The entire ruleset focused around basically making it a playground for the "cops" to troll the server population. I stopped playing when I was teleported by a cop randomly, then robbed and chain-arrested/killed, because he was angry that the federal reserve was robbed and he lost his bank.

I gave Altis life a go on a few other servers but honestly, couldn't be arsed by that point. It's always gonna be hard to enjoy those gametypes when one 'team' or group of players is given such power. Sort of glad I didn't try BTD though, by the looks of it I'd have an even worse experience on that one.

Stanford Prison Experiment anyone? ;)

You are welcome to check our Altis Life server (www.betterthandead.net).

We are trying to change things so, that cops are now not so overpowered by a mod. If you kill a cop on our server, he is going to respawn with only a tazer for now (and not with any gun he buy only one time before the death). There was also re-balance of weapons for rebels and various cop levels.

It may look like that, but you are wrong. It was cut of the context. In my reaction i was refering to others spamming our forum thread with their CPC server. It was before our thread was moved/merged into this thread.

We know what other servers are offering and we decide on our own what features we will add as next. We do not download foreign codes from Armaholic and then put it to our game, and pretend that it is custom update. RaHoll is making custom codes, and even if we have similar features to other servers, they are not the same. Because they were done exactly for our server needs.

Our coder RaHoll is doing it because he loves coding and not because he wants to beat some kind of competition. Ammount of his time invested into this server is equal to the quality of the server. The longer server will be up, the better it will be.

Saying that we are behind some competition is not wise if you dont know who we are, what we did, and what we will do next.

Police cannot teleport.

Admins cannot teleport.

Admins do not have an ingame admin tool or an admin tool that can directly manipulate the live server, they can however access the database but this currently does not have world spawn locations and even if it did, changing it wouldnt affect anything on the server anyway.

There was/is a bug to do with helis and hospitals, unsure if related to Altis Life or Arma 3. Not seen it in a while.

Not sure why you didn't report it if you thought this was happening from an officer on a server which is widely known to have very active admins. Just check our ban appeals forum for proof :-)

Either you're tripping out or it didn't happen on our server, there have been a few servers popup with our name as they see we always have players on. Whats your playerUID (not GUID) I can look into it, you can get it from your profile section in game.

RocknRolla the way you're conducting yourself on here, you're not even in the race to be considered for competition. You're turning everyone away from your server. Stop spamming this thread, stop being insulting and change your website post about invading other peoples servers its embarrassing. Re-read your posts and work out who the one who needs to grow up is.

Banned for breaking server RDM rules as a cop, think he wanted to be banned. Not sure he's actually ever been back. Records in the private ban log forum show he recieved 24hr ban first so I banned him for 7 days and perma blacklisted him as an officer until he re-applies and then leaving it to the senior officers who deal with applications to vet him.

Its entirely possible when he arrested you it double arrested you, without a video of a conversation with him and you we cant be sure of the specifics but as above he's known to abuse his power. Check the date on the thread, IIRC he was really young aswell, not that we have an age limit but we have a quick turn around of dealing with the idiots on the server.

All we ask is that there is credible evidence which can be easily achieved by recording your gameplay footage. Doesnt have to be long but has to not betampered with/edited to avoid any funny business.
 
Some cool changes added to the CPC server, being in a gang marks your team mates on the map and the removal of some unnecessary vehicles. Good work guys :)
