Loaded up Breaking Point and it's very nice until I got into the first big city, performance is dire. Down to 25fps and unimpressive
Zombies remind me of the nurses out of Silent Hill
Did you turn off post processing etc? Also sometimes making some settings higher can make it run with better frames lol. The Breaking Point launcher has a section where you can add max ram/vram/cpu threads etc. Might be worth checking it out, I only have a 6950 and I get around 50-54 with high settings and 2xAA. Although the 6950 will be upgraded over the next 3-4 months no doubt, it is starting to choke on newer games.
why are the zombies so bad in dayz when its clearly possible to make much better ones, evident in the various other zombie mods for arma games.
I'm starting to come to the conclusion that rocket just isn't very good at developing.
Bind your custom 1 key to "h" in the custom options, (Esc > Configure > Controls > Custom Options)
Whenever you press your "H" key, you'll sit and rest, after about 3 to 5 minutes you'll be back to 75% health.
Make sure you have no zombies after you while doing this, you might end up being a zombie horde's take-away meal.
Thinking I might get back into some mission making over the weekend. Anything you lot would particulary like to see?
Redneck Swamp Lake Massacre is pretty much good to go. Just need to get the right balance for the load out. If no one has played it before, think of Predator. 1 player plays as the "monster" (guy in ghillie suit) who has NVGs, infinite stamina and can take a couple mags of ammo before he falls. He only has a melee attack which kills in 1 hit. The "Redneck" team currently have 2 SMG's with lights and pistols. It's set in a swamp area on Altis, night time + fog. Should be a good laugh when my internet is back working!
Edit - Going to make a Cops + Robbers mission I think! Ideas and suggestions please. Mission will end if either team is entirely killed or if the robbers reach a safe point.
