Offt, went through 4 Blackfoots tonight! The 1st one I managed to keep up for bloody ages, managed to avoid god knows how many missiles then the other 3 went down on the first AA missile hit. I swear it's random how those counter measures work!

I think if there is water on the map it is rendered for the whole area regardless if you can see it or not.
BTW jakspyder, nice to see you again, I played a few times with your group just before the A3 Alpha was released, some great games.

hey dude, we're still around, we all rejoined our old clan U.S.SOCOM as they kicked the old owner (for stealing server donation money to pay for his own games and such)
He was why we left and once gone we all returned.
Plenty of good A3 based gaming still going on here, but the mega modpack of doom will put most people off

Seems interesting, may have a look into milsim units/servers, always liked the aspect of organized and serious groups.
We have a pub server anyone is welcome on so long as you're not idiots and are willing to play properly and learn a bit. Joining is a big commitment and not for everyone. But the pub server is free to use. The mod pack is huge at about 9 gig. But over half of that is maps.
Hi chaps, I've nearly finished the first version of my mission so will be needing a lot of players to help test it.
It's an infantry focused sector control mission. Capture the majority of points to start bleeding tickets from the enemy, each death takes 1 ticket from your team. It's not vanilla though, it's NATO forces vs Insurgents using the map Clafghan.
I've made an addon with everything needed to run it so you won't need to worry about multiple downloads/addons to run.
Also created a Steam group for it so if you're interested in it then please join as I will be posting some details and a download link for it soon!

To paraphrase a post I saw ages ago on BI forums, for it to be hype-worthy it must be mentioned in at east several sitreps, an oprep, a spotrep, a techrep, along with several twitter teaser shots
