Armpit Hair?

Just trim it with some clippers, feels great tbh!

women like the smell of sweat its the pheromons (sp)

I suggest trim hair. You will look nice and neat then! Plus it makes it look bigger, oops  we're on about arm pits aren't we. :p

Try that driclor stuff & use normal deodrant as usual. (going with majority of peeps answers)

...you just keep telling yourself that :p

Fresh sweat is one thing, old sweat (which has often stuck to the hairs and dried there) smells really really really bad. And often the offender can't smell it himself. Yergh.

Sweat during what? that is the important kwestion..

If it's whilst using your pc then I suggest you lean back on your chair and surf the net, not lean forward eyes gawping, the position makes you sweat apparently.

If it's during excercise or difficult tasks that require lots of movement, wuss ¬_¬

Overspraying with AP or Do makes you sweat more too.

nothing wrong with shaving your armpit hair i dont think. i dont personally do it, but i do trim my actual arm hair so i dont look like king kongs smaller sibling when i sport a short sleeve top.

You could just be on your period ;)

But seriously, less hair will not mean you will sweat less there. The sweat glands under your arms are more linked with anxiety than the actual need to sweat (to lose heat). There is a procedure to have the sweat glands removed from the arm pit because they are actually pretty useless.

Give em a good scrub in the shower and again a vote for adidas anti-perspirant from me :)

I dont see the big deal about shaving one's armpit. I go a step further, i shave my armpit, sixpac area and my arse (yeah i have a hairy arse). After that i take a bath and boy nothing beats that feeling.

I think it should be recommended for everyman who sweats a lot.

yes, but as every girl will know: once you start shaving, its a slipperly slope :p

You know most ladies that have seen me naked kinda like it when i look and feel smooth like a barbie doll you know. :o :D

whatever you do, don't use gillete anti perspirent - got that off someone for Christmas, and it sticks your hairs together. Really nasty if it sticks them together close to the root. :/

Yet another vote for Dryclor, it's very effective.

As for the original question as to shaving your pits I did for a period of about 4 months for hygene reasons (I had a large hole in my right axilla that needed packing every day and it wouldn't heal) I didn't notice any decrease in odour tbh (bare in mind it was impossible to use deodorant for the above reason) and when you did sweat it felt very uncomfortable.

Yes it is, but it blocks the pores and makes you sweat more elsewhere (your forehead for example). Dry PIt Rock, (either the crystal or the spray), they are natural and contain NO aluminium. Then just use a Deod on top to mask any nasty whiffs!!

I dont sweat much normally, but once i start exercising hard then its game over for sweating. I`m one of those people in the gym trying to beat the rowing sprint time..etc that sweats like mad :D (i do wipe down equipment ;) )

On the plus side as i shower after sport anyway there is little/if any smell.

I dont think shaving the hair would make that much difference. TBH if you are sweating at interviews..etc when it isnt abnormally hot or you are exercising then it sounds more like an anxiety thing than a temperature regulation problem.

just trim it down with some hair clippers, also if your worried about sweating use ultra dry it costs £6.99 a roll on but you only need it every 2 days cos it actually stops you sweating from under your arms
