US: Arrow - Season 2

The Laurel story line is doing my head in, she's angry that Tommy died because he ran into a collapsing building because given hours warning she refused to leave it, and hates the Arrow because he was busy fighting a "pointless" fight trying to stop Tommy's father bringing the city down in the first place.

She purposefully gets herself in trouble, puts everyone at risk constantly and blames everyone else, such an awfully written character.

The way I see it she knows it's mostly her fault and partly Ollie's that Tommy died but she doesn't want to face that conclusion so she's using GA as a scapegoat as she saw him leave... what I don't get is why Ollie as GA just didn't tell her he tried to get there but was too late.

EDIT: @ Ray Below: TBH They all win!

I wouldn't mind if they had her struggling with guilt and acting that way, but she's clearly just being used as a cheap plot device that is poorly written because she flip flopped every other episode last year for the sake of the story as well. The struggling with guilt thing written well would be okay, but saying he was in a pointless fight when he was trying to stop thousands of people from being killed by stopping the guy doing it.... it's just stupid, so stupid it's not even remotely close to believable.

As for Xinn, wow, you're a typical poster who talks crap, woo for you. I really like Arrow, and liked it from the first, ep, doesn't mean I can't hate a character in it.

I love loads of tv shows, doesn't mean I would call a turd a turd, like Marvell, or a crap actress or crap character rubbish either, like Laurel.

Laurel isn't Black Canary in this series her "MIA" sister Sarah is apparently going to take on that mantle

Ahhh I see, seems that the news I saw, was slightly confused, and that the producers have said that it will happen 'eventually', but just as season one was "The Hood" and not "Green Arrow", evolution has to run its course, but will eventually reach the expected conclusion.

Jeez. You bunch of pervs! :p

I am still reviewing this show if anyone is interested in watching them. Just hit my channel in my sig.

I will say I am loving season 2 so far. Not impressed with what they've done to Laurel. Her character has dramatically done a 360 since the first season.

Looking forward to some more Black Canary. It's even more interesting that this Canary has a mask on. Maybe an inspiration for Oliver? If you watch the promo for next week's episode, you hear him say "Nice mask."

Also, the League Of Assassins are due to appear in episode 5. Yes, we could well see Ra's Al Ghul! And then of course, there's Barry Allen. Set to make his debut in episode 8 and then 9 and then 20. The 20th episode will serve as a back pilot of sorts for The Flash tv series they plan to start next year. All in all, season 2 looks to be shaping up nicely! :)

You sir - are THE man

Tyvm for sharing that - never wanted to be a suitcase so much in all my life :p

I'm guessing the cliff hanger ending we've just seen is either a dream scene by Laurel and it'll turn out to be Tommy under the hood

or

It's nothing more that a projection of Ollie/Hood and he's nearby but still quite safe?

Guesses don't really need to be spoilers IMHO, only I think people talking about stuff from promo's adds for further in the season as I never watch them.

I did actually wonder if he would see if she would try and trap him with a projection or a decoy. Maybe it will turn out to be, I forgot his name, Roy?

I'm thinking:
Black Canary kills the lights and helps him escape.

Assuming it is actually him and they aren't going use some cheap ploy like it is just a dry run incase he comes back or something stupid like that. Then I think it will need to be more than that, though I could see her taking out the SWAT team which would be a big enough distraction to get him out.

Awesome episode! Loved the partnership with Lance too :D

This is easily my second favourite show (true blood still remains in my #1 spot)
