US: Arrow - Season 2

Seasons getting better and better. Although how are they not seeing and recognizing him when hes that close and facing them? especially waking side by side to Lance.

Agreed it is getting better and better - partly due to quite a good story and action, partly due to Felicity being hot in every episode :D I am glad they quickly dealt with Laural's it's all the arrows fault for Tommy to it's my own fault as if they had let it continue it really would have dragged on.

I agree though that surely they would recognise him nevermind putting 2 and 2 together that the hood/arrow only appeared after he returned and disappeared while he was in 'Europe' and re-appeared as soon as he was back. I just put this down to the suspend some reality when watching anything like this.

Not remember the episode where he got Diggle to put the suit on for a while (when Oliver was in jail) plus he had to do a lie detector test amongst other little things throughout season 1 and of course Oliver still has the reputation that he is a selfish little rich boy who was always partying etc.

Although the last few episodes have definitely made it more obvious with arrow showing up as soon as Thea is taken hostage and of course you would think that Lance would recognise him since he was practically standing by him the entire time.

As has been said many times before, nobody recognised Superman was Clark Kent, and all he did to change his appearance, was put on a pair of glasses.. Stop getting so hung up on why people don't recognise oliver as arrow.

Great start to S2. As like the first each episode is getting better and better.

Don't care if the lighting from the set is ignored by the actors to not recognize who he is... You think your face is lit up when your in a pitch black warehouse or alley? Trlololol...

it's exactly the same thing as all bad guys not being able to aim a gun and have infinite ammo without reloads :p deal with it,haters :p

Great start to the series - seems that they're going about fixing the main issues that the first series had. The weak, pointless side characters are either dead (Tommy) or getting much less screen time (Thea).

I love that the league of shadows is being properly introduced, and the mention of Ra's al Ghul was a nice surprise - DC has always been very protective of anything related to Batman. The execution in the clock tower was entirely unconvincing though (the league of shadows assassin didn't even try to fight back?).

Really not looking forward to superpowers appearing though... I can't help but feel that it will spoil the dark and gritty feel of the show.

As for the "why don't people recognise Oliver" question - well, he's always careful to show up at night, and keep his face hidden from the light. As mentioned before, he has already gone to lengths to eliminate himself from suspicion, by having Diggle pose as the arrow while he was in custody. I would like to see Laurel recognise him in this way eventually though... She's inevitably going to learn the truth at some point, and rather than it being a 'big reveal' made consciously on his part, I'd prefer to see the two of them end up in a situation where she gets too close to him and sees his face (maybe he throws her down to avoid a bullet / arrow / whatever and she makes the connection). We'll see...

edit - on the Island we saw Slade Wilson burning. Is this his transformation into Deathstroke? I assume that he will blame Oliver for his maiming, since he ran back recklessly for Shado.

This gets better each week !!!

I did think it was Slade in the mask

As did I for a second. But when Slade shows up in the "present day" timeline I'm expecting him to have the "Yin-Yang" mask of Deathstroke.

One thing I wasn't clear on: The Alderman in the mask... Was he supposed to be the Scarecrow? Or is he just some random guy with a mask that happens to look a lot like the mask of Scarecrow?
